SOME of the most prestigious boys schools in NSW face multimillion-dollar lawsuits alleging systemic sexual abuse on an outrageous scale.
Lawyer Jason Parkinson has more than 1500 cases against such schools as Trinity Grammar, Knox Grammar, St Patricks at Goulburn, Newington College and De La Salle colleges at Revesby Heights and Marrickville.

Most homosexuals were sexually abused as children.
They want to normalize the behavior to ensure better access to YOUR children.
This is just one lawyer, who stands to make a lot of money. So maybe things were not as bad as he says?
True. Like all behaviors, it is learned, but since it is unnatural, it takes evil people to destroy moral natural formation in a child. That is why homosexuality is so eggregious and vile, it is always tied to child abuse and toxic culture (environment).
The Afghanis are a homosexual (sexist/evil) culture, not unlike Sparta. It is normal to have boy harems or rape goats, and the preferred sexual recreation of the Spartans was always sex with boys. Women were for breeding only.
Toxic cultures and evironments warp the desires and worldview of children—particularly the emasculation of being raped—having the destruction of normal sexual identity formation being permanently warped and destroyed. Innocence and virtue is essential for “normal” and “flourishing” and for maturing and excellence, so that true diversity (maturity) can be achieved (the love of “The Other”).
Homosexuality is a fixation in the puerile, latency age, and they will naturally be narcissists and incapable of maturity (Loving true diversity— the “Other”) because of trauma during childhood, which could involve rape, but also extreme neglect or emotional abuse, which totally emasculates the child.
Australia is currently having a Royal Commission into Institutional Sexual Abuse. Things like schools, orphanages, youth clubs, etc. That Royal Commission has exposed the fact that sexual abuse of children was disturbingly common in almost every major institution that gave people potential access to children. It was only a small proportion of the adults involved - but even one molester in a boarding school or other closed environment could potentially access many victims.
I doubt this was only true of Australia. It's just we finally reached the stage of looking into it properly after many years of denials.
As somebody who attended such a school, and who teaches in one now, it's horrifying and appalling. But all to easy to believe.
In most cases, it was quite a long time ago - while there were later incidents, most of what is coming out now happened in the 1970s at the latest. After that, most institutions did get better at stopping these things from happening. But when I was at school in the late 1960s and early 1970s - when I look back, while I wouldn't say I was molested - not quite - there are certainly a couple of teachers who I believe probably did it to other boys. And my old school has come out of the inquiries reasonably unscathed - some of the ones named in this report seem to have had very big problems.
Sounds like the Australians patterned their schools after the British
It’s free money. All you need is to 1. “allege” against some dead teacher and 2. be a total loser. Very familiar with this routine, it destroyed my alma mater’s endowment. Unfortunately, liberals do not fight.
The schools in question here are deliberately fashioned after those of Britain - with both the good points and bad points unfortunately as it turns out.
I still think the good outweighs the bad - but the bad should never have been allowed.
These are Australian schools.
Its a massive scandal there.
Thanks.
Global indeed.
I note that President Duterte of the Philippines has accused a priest at his high school of molesting him in the early 1960’s.
As always thank you for your insights on happenings down under.
More than once a jolly swagman ...
Excellent post.
When my son was in Iraq he saw all of what you describe in Afghanistan -and more. It made a powerful impression on him. He’s alert to anyone mistreating children and has become much more aware of how sickened our own culture has become. After all, witnessing these nightmares is a different thing than reading about them.
