Americans viewing the recent failed coup attempt in Turkey as some exotic foreign news story -- the latest, violent yet hardly unusual political development to occur in a region constantly beset by turmoil -- should pause to consider that the prospect of similar instability would not be unfathomable in this country if Donald Trump were to win the presidency.
Trump is the most brazenly authoritarian figure to secure the nomination of a major American political party. He expresses his support for all manner of strongmen, and his campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has actually worked for one: former Ukrainian president and Vladimir Putin ally Viktor Yanukovich. At the Republican National Convention here Monday, Manafort put some of the tricks he learned overseas as a dictator whisperer to good use, employing underhanded tactics to avoid a roll call vote on the convention’s rules package and quietly removing language from the party platform expressing support for Ukraine’s democratic aspirations.

The rank-and-file of the military is still strongly Republican. Leftists imagining that the military is going to support them over Trump are thinking wishful thoughts indeed.
Those of us who are on the conservative side are quite different than those on the liberal side and having the addition of “paid anarchists. I see those idiots thinking they could pull such a stunt, the outcome NOT being in their favor. Remember Kent State? That didn't turn out too well either.

Unfortunately for them the very reasons for the military Purge were to remove leadership and effectiveness from the military because the Obammunists, like leftists everywhere and ever fear the organized military no matter who runs it or mans it and they never got the paramilitaries, the TSA and the armed thousands in ALL the agencies, organized properly. Had they done so we would have had the coup already before the last election. That said those paramilitaries have to be taken in hand by the new broom in DC and, best, disarmed, fired, and not replaced.
Their heads are more likely to explode than spin. Leftists are true believers. They are absolutely committed to the moral superiority of their beliefs, even though they are contemptuous of absolute morality and consider it a personal and subjective matter. This schizophrenia of the left leads many observers to recognize profound mental health problems among leftists. They are in the very best case irrational. In the worse homicidal.
The dye has been cast and it is not good for leftist/progressive/socialist/utopian/globalist believers. Their belief system is about to be discredited along with Muslim jihadists.
The left has had 8 years of unfettered license to improve culture. They have accomplished precisely the opposite. Their fits of rage foreshadow the terrible consequences they are about to suffer, the unavoidable product of their unholy campaign.
Obama did not have time or he was insufficiently diligent at organizing and motivating his paramilitaries. The military was never an option. Leftists FEAR their militaries and do what they can to neuter them hence the Obama purges. There is little leadership left that could mount a coup or a defense.
Any so-called coup will last 15 minutes and leave its leaders in prison and their followers bleeding on the steps of the capital.

Bill Clinton ordered the might and awe of the United States armed forces to attack Baghdad during the simultaneously televised vote for his impeachment in the congress of the United States... Split screen... The congress voting for his impeachment on the left, and on the right... Baghdad being bombed at night.
The United States military did what it does when the commander in chief gives an order... They carried it out without question.
If they didn’t say ‘NO’ to Bill Clinton, who was obviously using the military might of the United States for his own personal gain by distracting the nation’s attention away from his well deserved impeachment. What chance would a coup against the President have?
So if you are planning a coup (are you listing you lunatic Democrats?) you better have something bigger than the United States military on your side.

Trump should follow President Reagan’s free cheese example and pass out free boxes of ammo to America’s unorganized militia. The excess rifles and pistols can be either be auctioned off or sold at current market value via random public drawings.
