I am not an expert but besides the merit of the case, isn’t a Federal judge limited to a geographical area? I know district courts only rule over districts and their rulings only effect those within the district, so how can a lower court rule nation wide, isn’t that what the Supreme Court does.
Now as to the merit, didn’t Obama already win the case on what states can and can not do over immigration (very little, it is a federal obligation.)
I'm so tired of the propaganda, even from the NY Post. The ban isn't on "Muslim-majority" nations, the ban is on nations that have been compromised by terrorism.

After watching the two Lawyers in Tucker Carlson’s Show last night it was apparent that we are in much more trouble than I imagined.
One of them even pulled out the Statue of Liberty Poem to bolster his position against President Trump’s EO.
I expected the appeal of the stay by noon today.
Instead “The Department of Homeland Security says it has suspended “any and all actions” regarding President Trump’s ban on citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries entering the United States” an hour ago.
Don’t know what Trump’s up to.
Dear Judge, You have three options, 1. Resign 2. Retire 3. prepare for impeachment!
I'm confused as to how so many different jurisdictions can rule on this matter. I thought that challenges to federal policies had to go through courts in the DC circuit.
Doesn't this imply that the Trump administration would have to convince all 11 circuits of the legitimacy of his policies? Doesn't seem right to me.

The founders NEVER gave the judiciary the right or privilege to determine immigration policy of these United States. Never.
Sounds good to me, but how exactly does it happen?
The law clearly states that the President in national security can boycott aliens.
The EO clearly did not mention the word of muslims , or Islam.
If this was a ban of muslims then why can muslims come here from other countries?
This judge stated that the EO was discriminatory on muslims when the EO does not state any such thing.
This judge used a liberal talking point to stop President Trump.
This judge needs to be removed ASAP, and why has the DOJ not got to court yet with an emergency order to put the ban into place?

Its not going to be very epic. A quick overturn is the likely outcome. The Seattle judge is trying g to argue for rational review of the law making branch of govt and cites no precedents. Its a loser with the 9th circuit appeals court. The Boston judge who upheld the ban gasve three precedents.

When a court “order” is a clear violation of proper executive power it doesn’t set up anything...except a HARSH slapdown. The Left will stop at no outrage unless and until they are beaten bloody.
