“IF WE DONT GET A HANDLE ON VOTING FRAUD THE GOP WILL BE RIGHT BACK WHERE THEY WERE”

I agree. That should be job 2 for Sessions, right after he begins effective enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws.

I hope the Trump boys will run for office. I heard Laura Ingraham was thinking about it. We need some solid people we can trust to restore our great country.

VOTE FRAUD and REPEAL OBAMACARE NOW or the Republicans will find themselves right back where they started.

Remember when Democrats predicted the imminent decline of the GOP?

Yep, and we see how that one came out. Best to not get cocky.

Meh. Every election the press is writing the losing party’s obituary.

Glad to see the proper response placed on the thread so quickly.

Imagine traveling to the very edge of outer space and seeing nothing but blackness beyond...

That is the Demonrat’s future.

Sadly, they will not be a permanent minority party. So long as we are a two party system they remain the only alternative. That means that when the establishment Republicans act like the squishes they are and the voters get angry, the Dems are all that there is to turn to in protest.

It happened in 2006 and can again. The danger is that the Dems are so far to the left, so totalitarian, that the next time they get into power they simply will call an end to democracy and not risk being out of power again.

What is needed is a total extinction of the democrat party. They must go the way of the Whigs.

The author makes the mistaken assumption that we operate under a rigid two-party system.

I would make the case -- supported by the 2016 presidential election results -- that this country effectively has three major political movements:

1. Globalists ... these are the Democrat-Republicans who dominate the inside-the-Beltway crowd.

2. Nationalists ... this is Trump's grassroots movement.

3. Marxists ... the professional malcontents who have nothing better to do than tear the country down.

Hillary Clinton was the Globalist candidate in 2016. Donald Trump was the Nationalist candidate. Bernie Sanders was the Marxist, but he didn't make it to the general election.

The Democrats will never be a permanent minority because they are usually able to cobble together enough Marxists and Globalists to win elections in many races.

Agreed. (Though it is a good sign they don’t seem ready quite yet to shape up in the DLC/young Bill Clinton direction.)

Yep. The GOPe is the tougher challenge for Trump and for us.

All those years that the GOP had the House, passed repeated Obamacare repeals, and used the excuse of first not having the Senate, and then not having the presidency, for their doing nothing that they campaigned on.

So where are our tax cuts and Obamacare repeal now? What are they doing trying to sneak a virtual VAT into our tax code?

Even so-called tea party congress critters keep putting Ryan and McConnell back in power.

They are by far the larger problem.

Don’t kid yourself about Hillary not also being a Marxist. She’s just so much a crony klepto that she presents as whatever she thinks will bring and sustain her political power.

One big reason Hillary Clinton lost the election is that many Democrats correctly realized that she and George W. Bush had the same positions on at least 95% of the issues a president would deal with.

The only thing "Marxist" about her was that she was willing to sell out to Marxist donors as readily as she sold out to corporate interests.

They say the 10% of voters who are swing voters decide all elections based on who manages to sway them that cycle. All political ads are meant to sway the % that is swayable, to get them to vote one way or another or to simply vote or not to vote.

It’s pretty sad if that is true. That no matter the result of any election, the dumbest voters who still manage to vote or are swayed into not voting are the ones that actually decided it, and usually for non-rational reasons that they can’t really express cogently afterwards. It doesn’t matter if a lib or con or pub or dem win, the dumbest, the ones that have no guiding political philosophy, decide.

Freegards

“He would get 15 or 20 thousand people showing up at his rallies, and she would barely be able to scrap up 300.”

AND she had to bus in most of those! You are right that we need to investigate starting as soon as Senator Sessions gets approved for AG. Think “RICO, RICO, RICO!” Also sexual abuse of children!

The aspect by which you are right is that the Bushes and Clintons are all avowed globalists, who are by definition statist Marxists. They are just of a modernized Fabian variety.
