I suspect the money the Democrats spend on advertising is essentially a kickback to the MSM to reward them for favorable coverage. With declining TV viewership and the dispersion of the audience among hundreds of channels, plus the ability to skip through commercials when you record on DVRs, advertising is increasingly ineffective as a persuasion tool. McDonald's, Sears, and other companies in financial trouble or suffering declining sales have not cut back their advertising budgets, to my knowledge, but their advertising has not been successful in stopping the decline.

Why do you think Audi, Budweiser, 84 Lumber, etc., ran "virtue signaling" liberal commercials during the Super Bowl, even though the ads would alienate a segment of their customer base? Ditto for newspapers that endorsed Hillary Clinton in conservative markets like Dallas and Phoenix. Corporate America has cast its vote for the established political and social order, which incorporates the PC ideology. These corporate entities appear willing to take a few days of negative comments on their web sites and social media and maybe a short-term sales drop in order to show their liberal colors.

In 2017 when Trump became president, Arkansas has:

2 Republican US Senators

I heard that Missouri is going through a similar transition — the only current Democrats are US Senator McCaskill and state auditor.

Democrats can win three-party races with a plurality. Voting fraud and massive immigration. Laura was on “Fox & Friends” this morning talking about how immigrants have turned counties which used to be solidly Republican into Democratic strongholds—and she seemed to have legal immigrants legally naturalized mainly in mind. In the long run some of those immigrants may become Republicans but in the short term they will vote Democrat...and the Democrats want to keep the flow of new ones as large as possible.

After every election we hear that the other party may become a permanent minority party. It has never happened. And if it happens, it would just mean that the party has split into more than one party, but the people making up those parties will still be on the same side of the political spectrum.
The Dems enjoy a huge structural advantage that would need to be destroyed before they permanently lose power. Their monopoly in indoctrination (a.k.a. education). That’s why the school choice reforms are key to freeing students from their brainwashing and from stealing the chance at a good education from many deserving low-income blacks and hispanics.
