.
Subtracting the 10-20 million fraudulent votes of various specie, Trump won the popular vote by a large margin.

This is logical. My personal opinion, though, is that the GOP establishment cost Trump the popular vote. Their attacks, and Jonson/Weld being former GOP-E, led many to desert their traditional voting for republican candidates. One way to check this theory is to check if the remainder of their ballot they voted primarily republican.

They were still counting votes in California into December for some reason.

Libertarians seem to be horrified by the way the left behaves on Trump and his voters. I hope they take stock of that next time they say “vote your conscious”...

Johnson isn’t a libertarian though, he is an old fashioned liberal Republican who had never had anything to do with libertarianism. Johnson ran so far to the left that I suspect he took more votes from Hillary than Trump.

There are some good folks among the libertarians, but they can be more fractious than any party. Most who are really serious about getting things done make their own personal peace about either the R’s or the D’s and join them.

Not one time did Glenn Beck suggest that he, or anyone else, should vote for Clinton.

Your stating that is libelous.

Weld is still a RINO ahole and Johnson is a fool, but I repeat myself.

They could have been the disasterous Ross Perot of 2016.

More Americans should know about this. For people as poor as many illegals, we are making the prisons too much a lucrative opportunity to make money. Maybe it’s time to place a “Wall Tax” on their earnings before the money every goes through Western Union. We probably won’t call it a “Wall Tax” though.

If Trump lost the popular vote he has nobody to blame but his own mouth. Thankfully we don’t elect presidents by popular vote.

Thankfully FOR NOW we don’t elect presidents by popular vote. If we see a Dem majority again, that is one of the first things they will work to change. The lack of popular vote is constantly being used to discredit President Trump...Had he won, there would be less ammo to be used by the left. Yes, Presidents are elected by EC, but having both popular vote and EC would strengthen his mandate.

Regarding the popular vote...

Just asking...Were you a #NeverTrumper?

Why are you disputing the article’s statement from candidate Weld?

What do you mean “Trump has no one to blame but his own mouth” ??? BTW, it is President Trump, and he is not blaming anyone...The article states nothing about his mouth...But you seem to have some kind of issue with his mouth—the mouth that won true Trump supporting Deplorables a new president instead of the Uniparty corrupt Clinton.

As the article actually states:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Governor Weld brought up a fascinating point, a point that has been largely overlooked in the reams of post election analysis. Governor Weld said that Johnson-Weld internal polling showed that 75 PERCENT OF THEIR VOTES WOULD HAVE GONE FOR DONALD TRUMP HAD THEY NOT BEEN IN THE RACE. THE LIBERTARIAN TICKET RECEIVED NEARLY 4.5 MILLION TOTAL VOTES in the election. It makes logical sense that three fourths of these voters, drawn to a ticket of former, successful two-term Republican Governors, would be more attracted to limited government advocates promising change from the last eight years. In addition, they saw absolutely no appetite amongst their limited government voters to support the Clinton-Kaine ticket.
In short, if the Johnson-Weld ticket had not run, Donald Trump would have won the popular vote. Given the Green Party’s anemic showing and its great reluctance to support Hillary Clinton under any circumstance, it is very likely Donald Trump would have still won the popular vote even if the Green Party failed to field a candidate. In addition, Mr. Trump would have rolled up an even larger Electoral College margin, as the additional votes would have likely flipped New Hampshire, Maine, and Minnesota to his column.
No one can describe Governor Weld as an apologist for Mr. Trump. Just as no one can question Weld’s political acumen and integrity.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So we have an assessment from a competitor with no reason to be dishonest showing that since 75% Johnson/Weld vote totals would have gone to President Trump according to their internal polls, if Johnson/Weld had not run, President Trump would have won...his mouth has nothing to do with it.

I believe President Trump won popular vote by a landslide—In addition to Johnson/Weld votes, I believe there was substantial voter fraud (I live in Chicagoland—fraud is no big surprise). I do hope vote fraud is thoroughly investigated and new safeguards are implemented prior to 2018.

Absent a federal authority that actually certifies the counting in all states, the popular vote does not officially exist. California alone is responsible for her margin and it’s vote was hinky to say the least.

I do think Johnson took more from Trump than Shillery but a lot of his voters would have picked neither if forced to choose, they knew the stakes and chose to waste their vote.

Regarding Vote Fraud:

Special Report Video with Brett Baier prior to 2010 elections:

Illegal Alien voted 5 Times:

Old Dominion University, James Mason University, Electoral Studies Journal: Adjusted estimate of 6.4% for 2008 is quite substantial and would be associated with 1.8 non-citizen votes cast in 2008.

Catherine Engelbrecht, True the Vote, found 6.9 million people in 28 states doubly registered.

Discussion of win of Florida and Minnesota...Just like IRS, not a “smidgen of corruption” in voting, etc...

Anyone think the situation has improved???

I voted for Donald Trump, and was never a “NeverTrumper”. I’m a conservative Christian that realized we had no candidate in this race, and he was the best option. I’ve also never seen a race with so few lawn signs or bumper stickers, and I directly blame this on the candidates themselves; in Trump’s case, his vulgarity made it difficult to publicly support him.

I’m glad he won; I only expect economic gains, no victories in the culture war.

More people voted AGAINST Hillary than voted for her. So, she lost the election.

Take out Johnson and Stein and the popular vote shifts back to Clinton. So what?

Trump won the only vote that mattered. Everything else is irrelevant.

"Governor Weld said that Johnson-Weld internal polling showed that 75 percent of their voters would have voted for Donald Trump had they not been in the race. The Libertarian ticket received nearly 4.5 million total votes in the election. It makes logical sense..."

Not so much. First of all, this is Weld's phony anecdote. Two weeks before the election, Weld released a specific anti-Trump missive that easily drove off any Libertarian voter wavering on Johnson and (puke) Weld.

Other media outlets focused much more specifically on whether Johnson/Weld cost Cankles the election, and Johnson's spokesman agreed!

"It's impossible to know how an election could have gone under hypothetical scenarios, but the Johnson campaign regularly said they thought they were pulling support equally from would-be Trump supporters and would-be Clinton voters.

If Johnson and Stein weren't in the race, it's also possible many of their supporters may have stayed home. But if about half of Johnson's supporters would have voted for Clinton over Trump, and if most of Stein's supporters broke for the Democrats, the electoral map would have been decidedly different.

However, Johnson's running mate, former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld, took a different tack. He defended Clinton regularly and argued Trump was a unique threat to the United States.

Johnson campaign spokesman Joe Hunter told CNN on Thursday "the Johnson/Weld campaign was clearly a factor" and cited Colorado as a place where the Libertarian presidential campaign may have actually benefited Clinton.
