KS-4 is 60.2% Trump, 33% Hillary. Hasn’t elected a Democrat member since Dan Glickman in 1992.
It’s not like they have many strong potential candidates for that district. The strongest would be some state legislator, they probably have at least couple in the district, but I guess they didn’t want to waste their time.
