It's supposed to be in the 50s/60s over the next 4 days, so they're back getting spring food (worms, snails, insects) and nested-up for breeding. Since they (and other local birds) only migrate to where the winter food (berries) is, they're really not a true migratory bird. Whole fields are covered with them, here in PA, and when they go into flight, it's like a black cloud blotting-out the sun. Amazing to watch.

If you plant Viburnums, Hollies, Pyracantha, Juniper, Mulberry, Crabapple etc, which carry winter berries, you’ll have them visiting you during the winter months, and nesting nearby.

Great to hear Rush saying that the 1986 Amnesty is what flipped California from Reagan Country to Obama Orcland.

For years, esp during Dubya’s benighted regime, Rush was absolutely nowhere to be found during the border wars. It’s good to have him onboard.
