Barack Obama has signed into law a bill authorizing some $611 billion in funding for the U.S. military for 2017, but hidden inside the massive governmental document is a provision that is alarming free-speech and limited-government advocates: authorization and funding for a new center to decide what is truth.

Apologies if this has already been posted, it's from December but I just ran across it. Couldn't find a previous post on it via search. Curious as to thoughts on the legitimacy of the article. As Orwellian/facist as it is, why couldn't Trump use this to his advantages if it was already set in motion by Obama? Or refuse to fund it and let it die?

Mixed emotions about this. Tempting to use the left’s own skulduggery as a tool against them. However, where in Constitution is authority for this? Not seeing it.
