I got that question from someone I wanted to rent a house from. He say, “Say you aren’t one of those crazy Trump supporters, are you?” and his facial expression changed from kindly to malevolent. I honestly replied that I was not a “crazy” Trump supporter. But he wouldn’t let it drop - he went on and on, staring at me with twisted anger, saying how much he HATED Trump supporters and their sick, twisted minds. I guess he was hoping to provoke me. I looked at his facial expression carefully, trying to judge how far off from normal he was. Scary guy.
I wish I would get one of those nuts. Every time I face these people they just shut up and turn away...Maybe one day .
The funny part is that while he was testing you to see if you were what he wanted in a tenant, he revealed that he was not what you wanted in a landlord.
I was in line last night at a fantastic hole in the wall BBQ place, picking up our order to take home, and one of the men in front of me started chatting with the owner about some local politician who lost, and he mentioned Trump and they both derisively laughed and laughed. I feel like I am living on a mistake planet around here. You can’t like the President. You are not allowed. I didn’t want my food spit on. I stayed in my closet.
