Perez beats Ellision 235-200 on 2nd ballot.
I know the CW around here was for Ellison, but Perez is a better choice if you're a Republican because the fired up portion of the Dems were for Ellison. This will de-inflate them and they will become less engaged.
The Lobbyists and Big Money won over grassroots today.

I don’t think this will deflate the far-far-lefties. It will further outrage them. Exactly what we want. First it was Clinton’s cheating Bernie of the nom, and now this. Maybe it will be enough for them to abandon the DNC for the Socialist or Communist party.

That's why I was hoping for Ellison.
