Trump’s approach is SO WEAK. It amounts to, “The Democrats are doing it too, so leave me alone.” They won’t leave him alone because they don’t care about being inconsistent. His message should be that the Democrats are inventing a phony enemy to distract us from America’s real enemies.
You have no evidence that anyone is being distracted from anything. You are simply falling into the liberals trap by accepting their narrative. Trump and Sessions are rising above the pettiness, setting a new standard for ethics, all the whole giving up precisely nothing.
