I'll respectfully disagree. Kasich and Portman, two of the most disloyal-to-the-base pols there are, didn't even vote for Trump, and they're proud of it. They're totally bought and paid for by cheap labor globalists.
Yet, OH went to Trump by beyond-wildest-expectations. Why? Trump ran heavy on US jobs for US workers, with US workers getting first chance at H1B jobs. That support for the down-trodden US worker is what generated surprises in Michigan , Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. That's the election.....US workers and communities that have been decimated by the loss of jobs, both from outsourcing and H1B labor.

Here’s the secret to understanding this: Trump does not see true productivity as being a zero sum game.
That said, true scrutiny needs to be applied. People who expect to play in the American game need to have high ideals, not low ones.
Also notice that there is another shoe that could drop.
Trump has been talking about border taxes unless there is fair (or as I might call it, balanced) trade.
That, applied to H1B staffing, would encourage these firms to hire more locals AND to treat them right.
Wait while the proverbial Saxon gets angry, because he doesn’t want to do that in a moment and have a weak case.
And notice too that these tend to be Democratic lefty workers. Trump had to not overly alarm them with rightist rhetoric.
