They didn't want you reading this speech. That's why they made it about TR getting shot and blew it up larger than life, and hid the content in the shadows so you couldn't read it.

If anybody wants on/off the revolutionary progressivism ping list, send me a message
Progressives do not want to discuss their own history. I want to discuss their history.
Summary: What exactly would you expect to find in a speech titled "Progressive cause greater than any individual"?

If not TR, it could have been Hiram Johnson.

Technically, conservatives are the real RINO’s. It wasn’t until Reagan that the GOP became more dependably conservative than the Democrats.

Why do I get such a sad twist in my stomach, that many of these words could also be said by DJT. With much of the respect and grace of speech that Bull-Moose showed.

Teddy Roosevelt’s progressivism, DESPITE the crap spewed by that nutcase Glenn Beck, was PARSECS away from what the unwashed horde of anti-American, anti-western socialist radicals call progressivism in America today.

So is this the true side of TR that was hidden? I confess I don’t know much about the man but this ignorant, misguided tripe makes me question his place on Mt. Rushmore.

I need some time to go through this and note how today’s progressives are 180 degrees at odds with what Teddy says.
for example, “I believe that the Progressive movement is for making life a little easier for all our people; a movement to try to take the burdens off the men and especially the women and children of this country.” Seems everything they want nowadays makes life just that much harder, except for the professional grifters.
