In South America, Catholics are moving to the Evangelical churches lack of priests in SA causing the immigration to the other Christian churches.
Exactly. I think that is what I am trying to say also.
This makes the spiritual issue much more important than whatever legal issues they have. Stay or go, they will need God's guidance same as you or me. If they have to go home, God absolutely will guide them and help them through it if they let him and seek him.
This is the thing almost everyone misses. They came here because at home they saw no hope. But God was the answer there just as surely as he is here. It wasn't the US they needed, it was God's hand on their lives. That, they could have had there, and now that they have it, it goes with them wherever they go from here.
People get themselves into untenable situations, might be their fault, might not be, but the very impossibility of it drives you to look up. God can unravel what you can't unravel. He can open doors that don't exist. So if these folks have to go home, if he is with them, they do not have to fear. I have seen enough to firmly believe this; probably you have too.
Wait until there is a raid on the people as they come out of church.
I know people in this church and they are very conservative. Yes, they are Hispanic but also evangelical. They were pro Trump big time...pro life, pro traditional family.....and spoke out against liberal positions. Many are also military.
Fag teaching the gospel
Not good in any church
If they are hearing about sin and grace, that’s good....but in many of these “new life” churches, it’s more about the band.
Keep it on ICE
Should a church turn them away?
I'm not sure what you mean. But, Brady and I were good friends years ago when we lived in the same town. He and his lovely wife were the first people ever to babysit my daughter.
He's not in any way a "fag." He has always been a passionate lover of Christ and a faithful servant of the Gospel.
He and I may have differing viewpoints on illegal immigration, but he sees it from a Gospel perspective and I respect that. To Brady, these are souls seeking Christ and that is his primary focus.
You obviously do not know the pastor. He is nothing like those two.
Any Hispanic that is not a Catholic is sadly misinformed.
?????
think about it...the vast majority are Catholic and the religion has been persuasive throughout Latin America...the Catholic church has been pert of their heritage for hundreds of years and Our Lady of Guadalupe is their proof.
If he’s harboring illegals, he’s a law-breaker himself.
What else is there to know?
And I know a thing or two about “megachurches”. One thing they all have in common is cherry picking Bible verses to suite their agenda.
It’s one thing to preach to them, it’s another to harbor.
That was my point.
At least with the straight drug scandals, the sex is better.

Brady sounds like just another flippant liberal who is all about a OWG and breaking our borders down.
No different than Russell Moore from this point. A fifth column of the worst type since he’s claiming to use “Christ” for this purpose.
If he really cared about these people, then he’d go to them, not invite them here in chaos - a move the Devil smiles at.
Nobody said they are harboring them. There’s a big difference
New Life Church is a Bible believing church, taught the Nicene creed for five weeks in the recently. For 25 years it was a good church that grew very large. Then starting in 2004, the old pastor Ted, changed noticeable to many. By 2006 his and drug scandal hit. Ted established the church with oversight by leaders from five other churches; they fired him and sent him to rehab, which he failed. The five found another pastor who with the close oversight of the five leaders, took the church into a more traditional evangelical worship direction. They now have eight apartments for homeless mothers, more for homeless men, and a free medical clinic for women.
The church has a traveling Easter Pasion show that was getting packed when they started offering a Spanish version. The church saw an unfilled need for people to hear the gospel in Spanish. They started Spanish service in their own church. They don’t keep illegals out, but they don’t support them being illegal, either. This is Colorado, Denver is a “sanctuary” city. it’s the “world” they find themselves in right now. I believe they are letting God handled the details while they stick to preaching the gospel.
