Hope you’re hanging in there, FRiend. We already have a foot of snow up here in the “notch” of Connecticut. Snow is blowing sideways... Almost zero visibility.

I think it would be fun to run a political campaign against a snowflake. Call your opponent's ideas moronic during a debate, and the opponent will cry and flee to a safe space. Easy peasy.

I saw on another Rush thread that in St. Marys, GA you only use A/C for three months, open windows for nine months. It's really not that humid there??
If so, hubby and I *must* check St. Mary's out! We plan to move somewhere South one of these years...

When you strip away the golf babble and the cigar babble and the endless Boll and Branch live-read commercials from today’s show you’re left with a little over an hour of content.
Somehow he failed to drone on about his numerous iPhones today.
I’ve been a fan since he first turned up on WABC in New York in 1988 but his show is no longer fun to listen to. There is no more satire or comedy, just Rush yelling at the top of his lungs into the microphone.

I think you’ve been sold a bill of goods. I’ve been in Folkston, GA a couple of times, which is a stone’s throw from St. Marys. It gets hot and humid as all get out there.
I live 33 miles southwest of Atlanta and you can NEVER open the windows. The pollen counts from about March through November are off the charts and the locals light their fireplaces in the fall as soon as the temperatures drop below 65º in the evenings.
So if you don’t want to drown in your own mucus or have your house stink like a forest fire you have to keep your windows shut. Ditto car windows. You almost never see anyone driving with the windows open unless they’re driving an old beater with a busted A/C.

I just listened on FF and was going to post the same thing.
Three (instead of two) spoken word commercials today that took up all or most of 4-5 minute long broadcast segments.
This after a day off and an even longer stretch of talking about golf and dropping names.
I like golf even more than Rush does but as Linus Van Pelt once noted, people really aren't all that interested in hearing about your hobbies.
Shows on days preceding and following his travel are usually random, unfocused affairs and today was no exception.
