Shortly after crossing the Rio Grande into the gang-infested border city of Reynosa, dozens of Mexicans deported during U.S President Donald Trump's first days in office said they would soon try to head north again - but this time to Canada.
In a Reynosa migrant shelter, just yards from the U.S. border, 26-year-old Cenobio Rita said he had earned about $3,000 a month installing playgrounds in Richmond, Virginia, before he was deported on Feb. 15 after police found marijuana in his car.
Having left Mexico as a 14-year-old, he fretted about returning to his violent home state of Michoacan. With Trump taking a tough stance on undocumented immigrants, he ruled out a common path for many deportees - back into the United States.
"I want to go to Canada with my passport," he said. "For those without documents, I think (the United States) is over. Now it's Canada's turn."

The only question is are we going to “let him play through,” or make him “fly over” our country. In either case, ICE should make the determination if we let him transit directly on our soil.
North or south as long as you vamoose.
Once we get a good barrier installed they won’t have any choice but to fly or go by boat.
The ones here already can go either way as long as they just go now.
We need the wall, 8 years of Trump and a whole bunch of legislative changes, re-interpret or change the birthright fiasco.
“The ones here already can go either way as long as they just go now.”
I really like the fact that as they round up the criminals and the lawbreakers, they run some of the one’s who don’t have a rap sheet out too. The more these leeches see those around them being deported, the bigger the impetus will be for them to pack up and go of their own volition. And I really like Wilbur Ross’ idea as he “renegotiates” NAFTA that part of it will be to force Mexico to raise their wages substantially. Four bucks a day is a far cry from even $8 a hour!
Good luck with that. Canada has a strict vetting process that can take years.
Okay, is it me, or does this guy make that sound like a threat. Canada's turn for what? Finding out the wonderfullness of pushing 1 for English?
We should install high-powered trebuchets at The Wall to help transport them to Canada!
Just fill up the Queen Mary in San Diego with illegals and then tow it to Vancouver, BC. Load the ship with Legal Canute tourists and go back to San Diego. Drop the Canutes off and load it up with more illegals to go to Vancouver.
Repeat the process.
I’d rather keep the Mexicans...please send all muzzies and Somalians....they have nothing in common with our culture...
Nafta was nothing but having cheap labor produce goods for American instead of IN America....
Canaduh’s got their immigrant/refugee problems already, big time, from muzzies. Sharia law’s been pushed there for many years. More Mexicans won’t be so bad for them.
good. let’s see how our northern neighbors react. Oh yeah, you can’t work in Canada without permission and no healthcare.
They have the nerve not asking those celebrities if they didn’t need a ride up there—those who vowed to move to Canada.
GTFO
Canada is picky about whom they allow to stay in there so I doubt that the Mexicans are going to be getting all that great a reception there and probably won't be allowed to stay. LOL
