Former national security adviser Michael Flynn was paid more than $67,000 by Russian companies before the presidential election, according to documents released Thursday by a Democratic congressman.

Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland asked the Trump administration to provide a comprehensive record of Flynn's contacts with foreign governments and interests.

Flynn accepted $33,750 from Russia's government-run television system for appearing at a Moscow event in December 2015 — a few months before Flynn began formally advising President Donald Trump's campaign — and thousands more in expenses covered by the network and in speech fees from other Russian firms, according to the documents

Hey Time, here’s a newsflash:

HILLARY CLINTON SOLD THE OFFICE OF SECRETARY OF STATE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. When you start investigating her treasonous activities, then get back to us on Flynn, m’kay?

Democrat Theorem One: What are the Rats accusing someone of doing? That is the exact thing they are doing only much, much worse.

Flynn doesn’t work for the government. Were we at war with Russia and nobody told me? I’m so sick of this.

The media is so predictable they are boring. It’s just like Hollywood making the same movie over and over and just changing the name.

I’m not equating him to Trump. I realize the Democrats are doing that. I am unhappy that he didn’t serve his nation and our president without trying to enrich himself with Russian and Turkish money.

Thank you. I think most of us get it. He betrayed our goals and did it for himself. He lied to the VP and didn’t serve POTUS well. Good that he’s gone.

I agree. And I think that is a point that needs to be made. Uphold high standards for all who serve our nation.

It was still a violation.

"The Defense Department has said retired military officers are covered by the emoluments clause because they could be recalled to military service. The department has also noted that the prohibition on accepting foreign gifts includes commercial groups controlled by foreign governments or others "considered instruments of the foreign government."

http://dailycaller.com/2016/09/01/john-podestas-ties-to-russian-and-saudi-money/

Who was lobbying for Russia?
If Hillary had won john Podesta would have been Secretary of State
Flynn was actually working for the wrong people if he wanted to rake in money from Russia- he had to actually go on a TV panel and give speeches

I agree. If a man breaks the law and causes a distraction from POTUS, why does this guy deserve loyalty?

I’ve seen it reported that Hillary Rotten Criminal was paid $145 million for brokering the sale of 20% of America’s uranium to the Russians.

Her “husband” Billy boy shortly after received $1 million for giving two speeches in Russia.

How ‘bout that, RAT politicians?

Flynn was a Rat party member and therefore, has no place in the Trump Republican administration.

I agree. Both set BAD examples. These are folks with a lot of influence, responsibility, and power. In these jobs they have/had very little, if any, accountability or supervision.
Character should be of utmost importance. Money and/or favors from any foreign GOV or source should be disqualifying unless it is from one’s usual and legitimate business dealings. I believe the later should be law.
