If one asks the question, “what does the Federal Dept of XYZ, do?”, one may find many of these agencies exist to enrich themselves.
the simple math is Federal Gov’t needs to shrink by 30-40% in order to save social security and medicare.
even the military budget to shrink if you want to collect SS

Cut OSHA by 75% or more, those clowns have been completely out of control the past 8 years.
We don’t need a Department of Labor.
We need a government that doesn’t get in the way of labor.
Well that’s probably more than it’s been cut since it existed, if it was ever cut at all.
