Ten thousand over five years - in 75 countries. In other words, 27 hires per country, per year (average). That won’t even make a dent in employee turnover due to transgender surgery.

As with all journalism today, the body of the story is the “news,” and the headline is “advertising,” no doubt to aid Starbuck’s flagging sales with offended customers.
