GREENVILLE A small group of protesters flew a large Confederate flag from the top of a parking garage next to the arena hosting two men's NCAA Tournament games.
The group arrived Sunday morning, raising the flag from the back of a pickup truck . They planned to stay throughout the games and be on grounds as fans arrived at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Greenville police had the group move the truck about 50 feet away, citing safety concerns if the flag tipped over.
Protesters say they hope to make their presence known to the NCAA. The governing body lifted its ban against South Carolina holding championships in 2015.

Sounds like big news, AP.
Calling “Boo Hoo Girl!”
Hope this “reporter” doesn’t cover any NASCAR races, he’ll have a heart attack.
Nicole Auerbach who wrote the article chose the wrong title. The coach made a very good talk not a rant. Nicole is a sweet little buttercup who is wilting as her snowflake bosom buddies melt.
They should put them in the bathrooms.
Sorry, but the time for giving back to the libtards twice over has arrived.
Eat shi....er...Obamaspeeches, libs.
The CSA battle flag was not an issue until unhinged Leftists made it an issue. Dollars to donuts says one could fly the actual CSA flag, and these ignorant Leftists would not even recognize it. For that matter I doubt they could correctly identify the century in which the Civil War occurred.
OMG!
Isn’t this, like, literally illegal?

Who is Nicole? I don’t see her name anywhere on the story. You got the right thread?
Oh! The (fake) horror!

Well, duh. The state flag of Georgia is directly taken from the first national flag of the Confederacy, yet few say a thing about it. Even during that weird media-manufactured Confederate flag hysteria back in mid-2015, almost no one said a thing about Georgia's flag.
Also, reporters almost never write the headlines. Some geek is writing them with key words to attract hits.
I just see nothing wrong with the Confederate flag. It’s part of history. Much can be learned from it.
It should actually be a reminder to the libs it can happen again. But libs do not learn from history (they just rewrite it) and they do not care about the future.
