Holy God,
How blessed we are to have a God Who wants to bear our load, our worries, our concerns, our trials upon Himself. You do this out of Your great love for us, Lord. So often we try to carry our own burdens instead of casting them upon You. We deserve none of Your assistance, and we cannot earn any of Your help. Thank You for these gifts that are freely given to us. Help us to learn to trust in You and Your unfailing love.
Father, we thank You for so great a love that You have for us. We ask that You help our military men and women to know and receive this beautiful love as well. Many of them are in situations of great danger. We ask You to carry that burden for them, Lord. Carry the burden of protection for their loved ones back home who wait for their return. Carry the burdens of their day-to-day lives in which they may be living under very difficult circumstances. Help them to know the blessed assurance that You are their yoke-bearer. You know all that they need and Your mercies are new every morning.
Precious Lord, we ask You to carry the burden of the Health Care bill that is in great dispute in the legislative branch. We know that the previous legislation has not been good for our nation. We ask that You give President Trump tremendous wisdom and discernment regarding how to help fix this bill so that it will be accepted by the Congress and will be beneficial to all citizens. Father, we ask You to help our President through this trial and to be his strength during these difficult days. Show him the way out of this mess that has been created by misguided people. We thank You for the guidance and direction You will provide him and his advisors. Again we ask You to protect him from all those who wish evil upon him. Bless him and his family with all the blessings of Abraham, Lord God.
Grant Your people Israel the revelation of Jesus Christ, that all may know the love of the Messiah and the redemption that was purchased for all those who believe. Father, we ask that people all over the world would pray for this beloved country.
Forgive the sins of our nation, Father, and help us to return to You in every area of our lives. Save us from the sins of abortion and homosexuality. Please restore our families, Father, for Your desire is that we all be knitted together in loving earthly families as well as in the family of God. Help us to honor the truth of Your Word and the teachings You have provided us.
Lord, Your yoke is easy, and Your burden is light. We can only enjoy those benefits if we submit our burdens unto You. Help us to do so, Lord, that we may rejoice in the rest and peace that we find for our souls. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Amen. Thank you for leading us in this much needed hour of prayer. I was awakened in the middle of the morning, long before dawn, and spent some time beseeching the Father for aid to our national leaders and those I know who need salvation.
The time is always right to seek Him, and He always hears our hearts, silent or spoken.
