Journalist/activist Mike Cernovich reports that former White House National Security Advisor Susan Rice obtained intelligence reports showing the identities of innocent Americans who incidentally spoke to foreign officials under security sweeps for spying or intelligence activities. Under U.S. law, U.S. persons are protected from such disclosure, which could be dry-cleaners asking envoys to pick up their laundry or wrong number phone messages spilling their guts about their mothers-in-law. If such U.S. persons get swept up in surveillance, they are protected. But only if they remain 'masked,' which is the law of the land.
Cernovich says the White House Counsel's office has confirmed that Rice was one of the few officials with the authority to make the requests to unmask the innocent Americans caught up in surveillance dragnets. There was no national security reason to do so, but she did. It makes a lot of sense if the aim is political, however, and White House spokesman Sean Spicer has pointed out that their goal was 'to leak stuff.' Based on White House logs, she did, during the transition back when angry miserable Obama White House officials frowned in a group photo for the cameras.
The White House counsel's office disclosed these logs to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, who has been as responsible a steward of America's secrets as anyone (and said nothing). But it would mean that Rice had to have been responsible for the illegal leaking to the press of the legitimate activities of people like her NSC successor Mike Flynn, for political rather than national security purposes. This would be true whether she did it herself or dispatched a flunky like fellow NSC official Ben Rhodes or Joe Biden's NSC man Colin Kahl to execute the dirty-tricks skullduggery.

The proof for me is something that will get this Benghazi liar Rice gal, indicted for a felony, for unmasking unsurveilled Americans for her and Obama's political purposes.
Otherwise, this is all wishful hoping and thinking on our part. Fake news abounds and it's impossible to know what is or what isn't the real truth nowadays.
Nothing ever came of the Benghazi mess, even though we thought we had the lying, scheming democRATS in our grasp. A big nothing burger with no fries is all we got out of that.
This Rice allegation will last a short while but then go away like everything else does in the lawless realm of DC. Unless I see handcuffs and/or indictments, in my mind there is no "proof" to this allegation at all.
Same old cast of characters - Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, probably colluding with Clapper, Jarrett, and ultimately Obama - reminds me of those old movies in which the band of crooks consists of Peter Lorre, Sidney Greenstreet, and Edward G. Robinson coming together once more.

Remember that Susan Rice appeared on the liberal MSM Sunday talk shows on September 16,2012 and declared that the attack in Benghazi at the US mission was a direct result of a “heinous and offensive video” and was spontaneous, not preplanned.
From one of her bios. It is ironic that she even uttered this in light of the fact that her sole reason for becoming NSC/ambassador/whatever because she was black. Furthermore, the second part of her ambitious goal - becoming a US Senator from DC is just more evidence of her duplicity and stupidity. IOW, I'm saying for those who don't understand it, she was where she was because she was black, the only reason. She had no business in our affairs, especially with anything involving 'security.' She was, is and will always be a Democrat political animal.

Cernovich's website actually says this:
The White House Counsel’s office identified Rice as the person responsible for the unmasking after examining Rice’s document log requests.In other words, Cernovich DID NOT SAY that the WH Counsel's Office confirmed that she was one of the persons had the authority to unmask, BUT WH COUNSEL'S OFFICE IN FACT CONFIRMED THAT RICE WAS THE UNMASKER.
Am I somehow reading this wrong?

She will not be charged out charges will be dropped. She will just day as part of her defense she needs to discuss the methods used to collect and unnask the data. Gov’t will them drop charges.
