The diplomat who is in line to be America's next NATO ambassador said Monday that former National Security Advisor Susan Rice has been suspected 'for weeks' of involvement in an effort to publicly unmask Donald Trump associates whose names appeared in foreign intelligence reports.
And he claimed ten days ago that if Rice and her deputy Ben Rhodes were behind politically motivated leaks of classified intelligence, former president Barack Obama was also in the know.
'Former State Department colleagues of mine have been talking about Susan Rice's role for weeks,' Richard Grenell told DailyMail.com on Monday
'She and her team certainly were hyper-partisan throughout their tenure. It makes sense.'
Grenell did not disclose who his former colleagues are.
Rice is the Obama administration official whose name became a punchline after her repeated false claims that the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks were caused by a crude Internet video....

I used to do 16 hour shifts regularly, and for a while I worked 40 hours within 2 1/2 days just so I could get four days straight off, but that was then, and this is now. I’m a night owl still. Don’t go to bed until 3 a.m. or later. If there is public hearings on C-Span, I’ll have to record them since I don’t get up until after 11 a.m. usually. And, I can always follow the live threads here on FR. They’re a Godsend.

He's supposed to be there for a month which means he's got 13 days left until that month is up. I wonder if he'll extend his hiding out beyond then.

I think he is playing word games with “wiretap” that has a narrow specific meaning to intel people, while Trump uses everyday words like “wiretap” to describe all sorts of surveillance.

Oh, absolutely. Those of us who love and follow Trump have identified with his old school shorthand from the beginning. And, even Trump put the word wiretap in quotation marks in the initial tweet.
It’s the villains out there who maliciously pretend not to get it. Including Comey. Legalese allows all of them to deny Trump’s tweet as on the mark.
If that is true, ( and I believe it is). The Dems and the MSM will implode. Unless there is evidence of Putin helping Rand Paul or one of the other GOP candidates.
My guess is Nunes has seen the logs and any candidate who was a potential GOP nominee were unmasked. Kind of explains why Schiff has taken a lower profile.
Nearly 40 years ago I bought a 5 meter dish for about 5 grand installed so I could watch C-Span.
Susan Rice had authorization to unmask these names, so how can it be "illegal" for her to do so? Some reason other than in-the-normal-course-of-NSA-business reason would have to be tied to her and proven and then there is the issue of intent and well....I know where this is going. No where.
Even if she did this for Obama, it would be hard to prove the names were unmasked for political purposes. Maybe there is direct evidence that is strong and compelling and shows a pattern that can be proven in court? Doesn't sound like they would leave such a trail that is so obvious.
Everybody smells blood in the water but I think this will turn into a drawn-out quagmire.

Was Rice auditioning for an expected Clinton job? Obama was on a glide path out of office. The risk seems excessive. Now her tits are in a wringer and I do not know if she can escape. If she has cut a deal with clinton she might turn states evidence and give up obama and clinton.?
Not without a warrant, Larry. Or else why even go through the trouble of having a FISA court? And didn’t the FISA court turn DOWN the warrant on Trump last June? If so this reeks of deliberate end run around the law.
The whole thing is lawlessness on display.
