Hillary Clinton's running mate is predicting Democrats will go "nuclear" if Republicans try to stonewall a potential Supreme Court nominee by Clinton.
Tim Kaine on Friday said he believes Senate Democrats will change the chamber's rules if they run into GOP obstruction in 2017.
Kaine, however, said Friday that there's a "significant likelihood" that Garland will get confirmed this year.
This guy is an imbecile of the highest order. Thank the Good Lord-and Trump & Pence-he did not make it anywhere near the presidential line of succession.
Kaine lives in LA LA land. What a loser pick for VP.
Schadenfreude moment. No, “Vice President” Kaine, no nuclear option would have been necessary, because Repubs are more “fair”. Van Jones would already be on the supreme court by now. Except that YOU LOST!!!
Per Rush - All that is happening today is that the Senate is being returned to the rules that lasted for 100 years prior to 2003. The judicial filibuster was invented by the Democrats in 2003.
I think it’s time to stop filibustering either party’s nominees to key government posts. 50 should be the new 60, and if the appointee isn’t Charles Manson, should be approved.
Who the hell woke “timmy” up? (Think “timmy”, south park style) Did kaine get a bit part in the “IT” movie as an evil clown stand in?
Notice how the media is deliberately not reporting this snake’s words.
Kaine is Nuts, but at least he makes great Chicken Fingers.
Not Van Jones.
Eric Holder would be on the Court by now.
The Senate was a joke before Gorsuch was nominated, and will continue to be a joke after. The only way to improve things is to follow John Adams lead. Repeal the 17th Amendment.
Kaine, meet Karma.
The old counting your chickens before they are hatched ploy. Harry Reid said the same thing before the election.
Democrats damn sure as hell would have used the option against us - and their toadies in the press would have backed them.
(From article) Asked about the nuclear option earlier this month, Schumer demurred, telling CNBC’s John Harwood, “I hope we won’t get to that. And I’ll leave it at that.”
Pretty much what Twitch has been saying.
Nuke em Yertle.
We’ve all had our full ration of `rats.
Time to move.
I guess Kaine was planning on the Dems re-gaining control of the Senate in 2016 too, since they would be powerless to change any rules from a minority position.
You slander imbeciles everywhere by associating them with Tim Kaine. It is not just that he exhibits little capability for abstract or critical thinking, but that all attempts to rebuke or correct him are met with hostility and a really emotional outburst that has no commensurate proportionate response, going to tantrum level rage rising to the point of incoherence.
The Cuck Soccer needs to go back to VA.
