No kidding ... It's an engineering school. It's supposed to be hard. Not everybody will be able to hack it. Not everybody should be able to hack it. Best thing is to weed out the non-hackers as quickly as possible and bid them goodbye.

Good thing for these snowflakes they didn't have Dr. Erwin Graue as their faculty advisor. He was 77 when I first met him in Sept of '72, and he did not suffer fools lightly. He was my macroecon teacher my junior year, and there was nowhere to hide: there were five students in the class.

I graduated from Gonzaga in four years with 141 semester hours, as I changed majors my sophomore year. I took 21 hours in 3 of my last 4 semesters. ROTC took another 15-20 hours a week, too. Gonzaga's core curriculum included 12 hours of philosophy and six hours of religion. I still wonder how I was able to graduate in 4 years.

Umm, no I don't...it was out of necessity. I was going into the Army after my 4 years at GU: either as a 2nd LT (with a degree), or as a Spec 4 (without a degree). The choice was simple.
