So - they want to start up a “Conservative” network that believes in pedophilia and abortion... but hey, they are otherwise “conservative”...

Half a loaf is better than none. All sin and fall short of the glory of God. You can't "catch" being gay like a virus if you are already a reasoning, conservative adult.

Unless the investor demands it, I doubt that Milo would put gay sex at the forefront of a news channel's mission statement. Milo may flaunt it, but he has a much broader view of the assault against free speech and its critical importance to the survival of the Bill of Rights. He ran an internet channel before that was about tech and innovation, not gay issues.

You should also know that Milo does not support abortion, and believes feminism is a cancer on the body politic.

He fits the tone to his audience, and yes, he’s the voice of conservatism - at least the kind that works.

Many have trouble with the fact that he’s gay and not ashamed of it.

People listen because he’s gay, and Catholic, and Jewish.

I’ve listened to his work extensively, and there was one podcast from No Jumpers that was pretty much useless.

One podcast out of a very great many.

One of the metaphors he likes to use is ‘cuckhold’. It’s Shakespearean, actually, and it is when a husband stands by and watches his wife being violated by an outside force, usually a man.

Then he says, “Is that not what congressional republicans have done to us over the last 25 years?”

Hard to argue with that, given Ryan is about to fully fund abortion, but not the border wall.

You may not like the vulgarity or coarseness of the metaphor, but it is precisely accurate in its description of the reality we live in as conservatives.

Give the man a chance. Cal Thomas won’t be bringing in the crowds, I can assure you.

Limbaugh needs to get his ancient fat butt out in front on this.

Limbaugh cares only about the NFL and Apple.

Limbaugh, Levin, and Fox News are fading away. No, it is time for a new generation of conservatives, if there are any, to move forward from the GOP dinosaurs.

Mark Stein is not even an American citizen. He just wants to tell us what to do. He should become a citizen before he does that. I think he is just in it for the American dollars.

Somebody needs to pick up the Mark Stein Show that Levin rudely dumped.

My son gave me a subscription to CRTV specifically for Mark Steyn. He got dumped, we are in the process of demanding our money back.
Used to like Levin but lately can only take a little of him. Sad.
All he does is read articles written by someone else.

The other personalities on CRTV, Michelle Malkin, Crowder, did I miss someone? A little goes a looooong way.

My question is this...

24x7 cable news is “Info-Tainment.” It is about ratings and therefore target audience. You script your slant on the news Left or Right to cater to a particular audience and their view point.

Fox came to be #1 with a conservative slant as they hit the middle America audience.

Now if we consider in business it is adapt or die. Think of the leading companies that did not see the market change, consumer preferences, and went right out of business.

So is Fox being smart as a fox, making this chang to a more Left stance, leverage its #1 rank as it recognizes the market is changing?

It is a business. I find it hard to believe that a MSM company would move Left because of a zealot viewpoint and risk being killed in the market place. You don’t see CNN or MSNBC moving Rightdo you?

My take is cable news is second fiddle to the Internet, and the Right moved to the Internet to get their news, so Fox has to move Left to compete for what audience remains in the cable TV news market. I believe that by 2021 the CBS 6:30 news will be gone as that time slot would get more advertising revenue with Judge Judy or Dr. Phil instead is Scott Pelie.

Print, Radio, TV, Cable, Internet - each one represents a paradigm shift. Fox is just looking for a piece of what is left of the Cable pie. Not a shift for ideological sake but rather to change now or die later.

Thoughts?

Thank you!

Do this and I will do like I did in the early days of Fox News and turn every public tv to the new channel.

Milo
Gavin McInness
Laura Southern
Paul Joseph Watson
David Seaman

Others..?

Other than Pat Bucanon I don’t know of a single one who I really love, who is older than 35 or so.

That’s super weird, but yeah, none of the middle-aged or old ones are really conservative.

The song is “Money for Nothin’”

Was recorded by Dire Straits with a backup vocal by Sting.
If memory serves, it was around 1993-1994.

Why bother. One America News Network fulfils the real, unembellished news requirement. At least for me. And their “Minutes” are pure conservative gold.

The problem with subscription based news, is that the only people who will pay to watch, will be Conservatives. The news needs to get out to everyone.

Oh, please. Scholarly? I’ve seen many of his videos on college campuses and they are amusing and he has said plenty of things that are right. But scholarly? That was always Christina Hoff-Sommers job.
