OK, so maybe I’m missing something here but all fifteen cases the sheriff mentioned are felony arrests. Isn’t the sheriff holding them and processing them based on those? Why would their immigration status make any difference?
Because after their adjudication in CA courts they would be set free if CA politicians get their way, they should have already been removed, some of them were and came back.
That’s why we need a wall.
These 15 illegals are being held by ICE, they’re examples.
Here’s a very short excerpt from CA SB 54:
“Existing law provides that when there is reason to believe that a person arrested for a violation of specified controlled substance provisions may not be a citizen of the United States, the arresting agency shall notify the appropriate agency of the United States having charge of deportation matters.
This bill would repeal those provisions.”
