Girls can still learn even without this program.

It was just another way to piss away taxpayer money so their leftist buddies could steal it.

improving the nutritional quality of school meals was a major focus of Obama's during her tenure as first lady.

Of course the CNN puff piece has nothing to say about how kids themselves resoundingly rejected the awful school lunches that her initiatives evidently forced on them.

And, as for how Michelle Obama's deep concern and support for girls' education around the world, the CNN puff piece is strangely silent about Michelle Obama's absurdly foolish hashtag campaign to "rescue" the 276 girls abducted by the militant Muslim group Boko Haram from their school in Nigeria, and forced into sexual slavery. That's some fine support for girls' education, Michelle, you tell 'em girl!

Gotta give CNN some kind of award for their fearless reporting on this story, huh...

The program was an attempt to educate Muslim girls, which doesn’t happen in many countries. Smoke and mirrors diplomacy on the backs of American taxpayers.

In their zeal to promote girls and women they have ignored and undermined boys and men. We have lost the better part of a generation of boys to these programs. They get turned off by 2nd or 3rd grade and rarely come back to any interest in school. They don’t learn the basic 3Rs. It’s a horrible situation.

Uh-oh, gonna be a whole lot of ticked-off officials in those countries who were counting on this graft from America.

No, but the US money going to corrupt officials in these countries was quite useful to said officials.

((
Allegedly. My guess is that it was just a way to funnel American funds to corrupt governments that the Obamas had buddied up with.

Good call. We can’t even educate our own girls. Or boys, for that matter. We sure have no business telling anybody else how to educate their kids.

Good! If it’s not helping girls in the USA then I’m fine with it ending!

Obama got $100 Million to distribute to educate African girls. The money is held by Obama and Moochie to be distributed. I bet that is already long gone. Gender reassignment is expensive for Moochie.

Over 1.4 million kids decide against school lunch each day. We've got to make school food both nutritious AND tasty. http://bit.ly/2qwLxxo

Also, black women are shown preferential treatment over black men to fill quotas. A business looking to score quota points gets more for a black and a woman. Are their jobs out there where businesses are looking to score quota points? Absolutely. Government sponsored enterprises, government jobs, government contractors, major corporations, universities, etc. are trying to score quota points.

The black males role in the family is diminished because they cannot compete well with black women for those jobs. This makes them feel inferior and this is not good for family unity. This is just another example of social engineering by liberals gone wrong.

The 'Let Girls Learn' initiative was run by... Maryland Dem Gov Candidate Caught Voting In Washington While Registered In Maryland, Republican Governor's Association ^ | August 11, 2017 | RGA Maryland Democrat gubernatorial candidate Krishanti Vignarajah’s campaign roll-out is off to a rough start. Just days after declaring her candidacy, it was reported that she has been a registered Washington, D.C. voter, despite also being registered in Maryland, and has cast her votes in DC elections since 2010. Even though Vignarajah lived just minutes away from Maryland for years and maintained a Maryland residence, she chose to vote in DC. Bethesda Magazine reports: “Vignarajah, 37, an attorney, first registered to vote in Maryland in 2006 at an address in Catonsville. However, she didn’t vote in the state until the 2016
