Comey's Out. Who's Next for Rosenstein?

If I were Hillary Clinton, I'd be afraid. I'd be very afraid.

Something has happened that has drastically changed her position in the world and that is the advent of Rod Rosenstein as deputy attorney general, a name not well known by many until now, although he has had quite an illustrious career at the Department of Justice and elsewhere.

Confirmed only April 25, 2017, Rosenstein wrote the well-crafted "Memorandum to the Attorney General" on the subject of "Restoring Public Confidence in the FBI." The contents of this memorandum are what many are assuming impelled Donald Trump to take an action he was hesitant to do, but probably should have done, on taking office -- firing FBI director James Comey before the reputation of the FBI was even more tarnished than it was.

Of course the left exploded, claiming a cover-up of the endless Russia investigation. But no matter when Donald Trump had fired Comey, day one or day one hundred and one, it would have created a conflagration. Chuck Schumer would have yelled and screamed and waved his bloody shoe even though he himself had previously called for the same thing only months before. That's what Schumers do, as does much of the rest of the not-so-loyal opposition.

Interestingly, a great deal of the minority leader's immediate fulminations after the defenestration of Comey centered not on Trump but on Rosenstein, who is apparently that most terrifying of all things -- a by-the-book straight shooter who espouses equal justice for all under the law.

As soon as a new director takes over, Andrew McCabe has to be fired.

Shrillary deserves to be behind bars for the remainder of her life. If anything though, at most, she will receive a slap on the wrist.

Despite campaign rhetoric, Trump thus far has demonstrated no inclination to indict or bring to justice Clinton, Rice, Lynch, Holder or any of the Obama criminal commissars. If he fails to do so, the judgment of history will be harsh.

“Chuck Schumer would have yelled and screamed and waved his bloody shoe even though he himself had previously called for the same thing only months before. That’s what Schumers do, as does much of the rest of the not-so-loyal opposition.”

Schumer listed people yesterday, including Comey, that have definitely had some question marks. I wonder if he could name some more to make the work of draining the swamp a little easier.

If Trump tries to indict Hillary! or members of the Obama regime, he is pushing us toward civil war.
If an administration cannot leave office or a candidate cannot lose an election without facing criminal charges, then there is no reason to give up power, or to accept the outcome of an election, is there?

I had reached a point of thinking DJT had realized the swamp was too deep to drain. This long overdue action restores my faith that at the very least Trump will fail but will go down fighting.

There is nothing more extreme or fake the rats and their media stooges will be able to say after this. Trump needs to begin the wholesale investigations and prosecutions of the entire corrupt Clinton/Nobama/Deep State axis.

Need to gather names of all of those promoted inappropriately under Comey and purge them as well.

Hillary won’t face justice. Too political. But I’ll wager a number of her associates will serve time.

Rod Rosenstein was on the prosecutor team that took down the Clintons’ Whitewater pals, but they couldn’t get Bill and Hill.

I’m surprised that you hadn’t noticed that Barry and the Clintons did NOT accept the results of the election. Barry did NOT give up power by setting up the deep state to continue to protect his policies. The civil war was started the day after the election by the rats, media stooges and deep state. Trump is finally getting serious about winning the rat civil war against the constitution.
Very surprising that you’ve missed what’s been going on the last six months.

This is all utter nonsense. Since April, Comey has not been directing the investigation. A special unit was created in April-comprised of 20 agents from around the United States and is led by an FBI counter-intelligence officer. Updates were given to Comey, and McCabe, the Deputy Director. With Comey gone, McCabe, an anti-Trump, Hillary lackey, will be getting the updates. Whether Comey is there or not, the investigation continues under the special unit under the direction of hte counter-intelligence officer, not the Director or Deputy Director.

Can’t accept that analysis. If it were true then the American republic is nothing more than a banana republic. If election to office means a license to unaccountable criminal activity, there would be no confidence in government. Either criminal public officials are held accountable or the whole system collapses. History will hold Trump accountable and democracy will be weakened if Trump fails to prosecute Clinton,Rice, Holder, and Lynch.

I may be misunderstanding you, but I think what you are saying is that in order to get away with major, major crimes against The United States all you have to do is loose an election?

That grants a person of ill repute immunity?
