In yet another horror story about the state of commercial aviation, a nurse from Kansas City says she was forced to pee into a cup in her seat because she was not allowed to use the plane’s lavatory.
Nicole Harper posted her account early Saturday on Facebook after, she says, she became frustrated at her inability to get anyone at United Airlines to acknowledge her complaint.
“United Airlines refuses to take my call, now I can’t sleep and just keep thinking about how wrong this is,” Harper wrote.

It’s easier for men. She showed’ been born transgender.
This was a nurse. If she knows she has a bladder issue, she should not have waited till the last minute. Then to pee in a cup. She was just trying to make an issue out of this situation. This is on her.
My doctor made me do the same thing yesterday.
And if they had let her go ... and during a bump she had been injured ... she would have sued them for millions for ignoring the captains warning to stay seated.
“After explaining that I have an overactive bladder and would either need to use the restroom or pee in a cup, I was handed a cup by flight attendants,” Harper said in her post.”
So, they gave her what she asked for, and now she has a complaint.
How does a woman aim inside a cup ? The saying “there’s many a slip between the cup and the lip” comes to mind.

#1 - “As an emergency room nurse I completely understand having a bad day”. So - you walk out of emergency care every time your bladder gets a bit full?
#2 - Captain always comes on to warn that decent is coming up and to prepare to return to your seats. It would appear that she chose to wait to go to the toilet. Yes, maybe the lavatory was full - or maybe she just put it off and “didn’t think about it” until they began to actually descend. Or nerves kicked in upon the change and triggered her. But if she had time to do her business in a cup while descending - something else is going on (and how could a woman pee in a cup while seated with seatbelt on?).
Stuff just doesn’t add up.

Plus Im an old lady and Ive had to go during a turbulent time and the staff let me go...Ive gone on several planes and not been stopped...I just get up and go...WAY BEFORE we are about to arrive...
Plus did they hogtie her to the seat ???

This woman is an attention whore.
If I think I’m gonna have to go I always go to the lav before final descent. Maybe this lady doesn’t fly much.
She should have peed on the floor.
1. She's a nurse.
2. She says she suffers from an “overactive bladder”.
3. This “happened” on April 9, the same day as the Doctor Dao incident. Now, a month later (AFTER news leaked out that Dr Dao QUICKLY received a HUGE financial settlement from the airline) the nurse decides to go public.
It's clear to me that this woman is looking for some easy cash. It's also clear to me that a nurse with an overactive bladder should know to take appropriate precautions (to include wearing an adult ‘Depends’) both BEFORE and ON the flight). I have ZERO sympathy for this money grubber.

A lie. United didn’t force her to p. Just another phoney article living off the United meme.
Airline employees are small people.
However, during the decent into Las Vegas, I had an emergency, and I had to bolt for the lavatory, and was actually on the toilet as the plane landed. It was not a good situation, and I apologized to the flight crew. Today, I'd probably be arrested.
