Exclusive: U.S. starts 'extreme vetting' at Australia's offshore detention centers

SYDNEY - U.S. Homeland Security officials have begun "extreme vetting" interviews at Australia's offshore detention centers, two sources at the camps told Reuters on Tuesday, as Washington honors a refugee swap that U.S. President Donald Trump had called "a dumb deal".

The Trump administration said last month the agreement to offer refuge to up to 1,250 asylum seekers in the centers would progress on condition that refugees satisfied strict checks.

In exchange, Australia has pledged to take Central American refugees from a center in Costa Rica, where the United States has expanded intake in recent years, under the deal struck with former President Barack Obama.

{snip}

...Those not offered resettlement in the United States will be offered the chance to settle in Papua New Guinea or return home.

Australia has already offered detainees up to $25,000 to voluntarily return home; an offer very few have taken up.

If they suck too much to be allowed into Australia, why the F are they going to be good Americans??? !!!!!

Trump has no need to follow through on an Obama deal, and the Aussies have no right to expect us to take these jerks. Send em to the outback.

Between the lines, it appears that this vetting business will require an absolute ID on the individual and the process, before they accept the guy. This will put some of the individuals into a bind because they’ve acted out this faceless and country-less routine for a number of years. It could take a year for some guy’s identity to be fully established, and his past issues to be laid out (I doubt if the US will take any guy with a criminal record).

Why give up a winning PowerBall ticket? 91% of "refugees" go on lifetime welfare in the U.S. That is worth MILLIONS per family.

I fail to see the logic for the U.S. Taking these people off the Aussies hands. They can deal with them without our intervention. We’ve got enough of them already. There’s plenty of open space in Australia to dump them. Put them in tents out in the western desert. After a few months they will gladly accept the $25k to return to wherever they’re from.

Maybe we can follow the new United airlines policy of upping the offer until they take it.

...

From what I’ve been reading, refugees get gold plated benefits.

.The refugees told Reuters that interviews began with an oath to God to tell the truth and then proceeded for as long as six hours, with in-depth questions on associates, family, friends and any interactions with the Islamic State militant group..........

I certainly hope that no kind of vetting, "extreme" or not, relies on the word of the would-be asylum seeker. Lying for six hours vs lying for two hours. I hope we are not that stupid. Lying to the infidelity as a good is a tenet of the Muslim religion. Does lying to an infidel under oath merit an even higher reward?

Lol! My fam and I fly quite a bit, both business and pleasure. And, while I have never had a bad experience personally, one of my daughters who flies a lot due to work and is AA Platnum, was upgraded to Business Class and then after being seated in Business was removed back to economy so a United Air employee could have the Business seat so to Dead Head to another city. Needless to say, she sent a blistering email to AA. Don’t know the outcome yet as it’s still being worked. But, back on topic, I say dont let them in the plane in the first place. Ask yourself; where and how are these so called war refugees getting the money for these international flights in the first place?

I saw this lady Noni Darwish on FOX, and bought her book on Amazon. The book was so compelling that I read it twice in 3 days, with highlights and underlines on almost every page.

She was born in Egypt and so was a Muslim by birth, not choice. Your official religion is marked on your birth certificate in Muslim nations. If you decide to leave Islam, that you never chose, you are an apostate and may be killed by any Muslim.

She left Egypt for the USA at age 30 and has spent more than half her life here. Along the way she converted to Christianity, so she has unique insights into both faiths.

It's the most important book on Islam and the war of civilizations that I've ever read, and I have read many.

"Wholly Different: Why I Chose Christian Values Over Islamic Values."

if the rapugee cannot establish an absolute ID with records that demonstrate no issues, and they do not repudiate mooselimb beliefs, then they should not pass vetting and go directly home.

Mooselimb beliefs are not compatible with a free society and mooselimbs, by their very nature, pose a clear and present danger to free people.

U.S. Code provides for the exclusion of ‘refugees’ who belong to any ORGANIZATION promoting terrorism or contrary to our Constitution. Islam is both. Prospective refugees should be forced to sign a statement denouncing Islam, thereby putting their lives at risk from Islamists, just like our forefathers. If they don’t sign, no U.S. entry. Period.

Perhaps we should offer the $25,000 per head as a kind of “bounty” to induce the government of Haiti to take these “refugees” and give them work on Haiti’s sugar plantations.

That would be a win-win.

The “refugees” would be very grateful for the opportunity to earn their livings doing honest agricultural work.

Haiti would have more “diversity”, which “experts” say is incredibly beneficial.

Yeah. That Haitian voodoo/santaria hoodoo can work its magic mojo on the muslims. Definitely worthy of Youtube videos.
