Monday on CNN’s “Newsroom,” network Sunday morning host Fareed Zakaria said the speech President Donald Trump gave this weekend in Riyadh could have been given by former President Barack Obama.
Zakaria said, “It’s going very well in terms of the symbolism and one important respect the substance, which was the speech that President Trump gave in Riyadh on Islam was very carefully done it was nuanced. It was frankly the kind of speech President Obama could have given.

Perhaps one might add, that this was the speech that not only Obama, but Bush and Clinton also could have given....but NEVER did deliver it.
It’s the speech that six to eight different Secretary’s of State could have given....but NEVER did deliver it.
It’s the speech that at least twenty-five heads of state from China to the UK, or Japan to Germany...could have given...but NEVER did deliver it.
So, that we cleared that from the table, lets move on. Let’s ID anyone and everyone who passes funding to ISIS. Whoever they are...cripple their economic status. Make it miserable for them to travel. Let them know that their behavior won’t be accepted.

No Freddy has it wrong. Obanana would have depended completely on the teleprompter, read it in slow robotic scripted way, would have positioned any commitments in carefully parsed words, interspersed it with numerous accounts about himself and his feelings, and would have tossed in some slang or other casual talk not fitting of the leader of the free world.
I listened to real leaders speak over the last few days. Vice President Mike Pence at Notre Dame. President Trump in Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Listening to President Trump in Jerusalem this morning... I heard conviction, credibility, leadership and inspiration. Proud of my President.

Of course BHO did not give the speech. There was not enough time for all of the “I”, “ME”, and “WE” and by “WE” I mean “ME, ME, ME”.
This is CNN’s way of admitting it really was a good speech. Obama was talking JV teams.
