Debating whether I should send this to a colleague on the other side of the partition, who I overheard this morning criticizing Trump for calling ISIS losers. She harped that it was “childish.”

For those who may not be aware of it, the term loser (or losers) has a special significance for Muslims. It is used throughout the Koran (Quran) to refer to persons who come to disaster because of their disobedient or evil actions and/or incur the wrath of Allah.
