My take on raising threat level:

1) they found something in one of their searches that points to more than one bomb vest having been made,

2) they found other (vests) in the raid locations,

3) the person arrested last night is singing,

4) they saw something on CCTV feeds on streets,

5) something more.

There is no way a politician anywhere wants to freak people out. They must have some very good intel or evidence that points at further bloodshed and mayhem.

I hope not, but I believe so.

If God forbid there is a similar attack in the USA you could imagine a scenario where Trump could declare a “State of Emergency” and deal with the domestic enemy in Congress, the Judiciary, and the “Press” once and for all.

The communist judges dictating to the President who can and cannot enter the country is the catalyst by which they and their allies can be neutralized.

The question remains is Trump up to the challenge.
