Good news. The press may be immune to prosecution for leaking, but it makes sense to use whatever resources are available to determine sources of leaks.

Morning Joke with Mika/Joe is a good place to start, on MSNBC, who openly brag about their insider contacts in the White House, among Trump’s “closest aides”.

Next week in the New York Times and Washington Post it will be “sources close to someone’s ex-wife who used to work in the White House Who is married to a former aide’s niece Who knows their nanny says that Donald Trump tortures puppies and is responsible for the deaths of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. Turns out OJ really was Innocent.”

Some unknown sources are better than others. Some are true, others are misleading, at best. To discern between the true and the not-so-true is becoming an art form. I’d give this one at least a 51% of being true. YMMV

Such irony; these are the same journalists who refuse to report on the illegal spying on Americans by Obama. Now they get to see how they like it, with the difference they will be part of a legal and real actual crime investgstion as opposed to a fake one.

“To publish classified information is a federal crime.”
The general consensus among reporters and politicians is publishing classified info is not a crime.
