Here is the problem: I like John Wayne more than Don Knotts. My neighbor and I were walking and discussing how we don’t like submissive men. Pleasers. Don’t much care for submissive women either. How about raising people that can think for themselves?
Or that learn the way God thinks? There are some overlaps between what men and women can do, but their general created fortes differ. Vive la difference.
Don’t demean Don Knotts. He was a goofy guy, but not a feminist.
Can't have it both ways so the more you stress independence and sexual liberation, real men will continue to treat attractive “career driven”/liberated females as a competitive creatures in and out of the bedroom.
Don Knotts was actually quite the ladies man. He was married three times.
The bottom line is that children really want an adult role model of their own gender to learn how to behave as adults, and an adult role model of the other gender to learn how adults of different genders interact.
Giving any lip service to androgyny, which a small number of children experience for a while; or transgenderism, which only a tiny number of children *medically* need, is a waste of time for the vast majority of children.
And no, it does not teach them sensitivity to the small and tiny number of children who are afflicted with androgyny or transgenderism. In fact, just the opposite. Sympathy is learned through conformity. Highlighting differences just aggravates those differences.
