Cultural conservative Christianization has almost choked out the actual Christ. The state had to become a fool before the church was forced to be wise.
Before the 3rd century mistake, states may have recognized both good and bad marriage including homo affairs. But the states were in no wise conferring marriages.

Marriage is an institution created by God. I see marriage as vows before God and others.
I don’t care what the state says but I don’t view two people of the same gender as married.

I’ll add that I don’t like activist judges from either side. That’s exactly what he is. He on his own chose to bring a 5300 lb monument into a state building.
One poster said Roy Moore plays “offense” and that’s what we need to do. I don’t believe in judges playing offense. That’s not what judges are supposed to do.

Anyhow the gay crowd could not co-opt through Statezilla something we ordered Statezilla to leave.
Householding is the most we can expect Caesar to confer, and that is really straining a freedom model. But it is going to happen as night follows day as more potential partners appear.
No more “civil marriages.” Householdings for tax and limited other civil purposes maybe. But keep marriage as pure to God as we are able to understand.
