Protests erupted in Tulsa, Okla. Saturday following the police shooting of a knife-wielding man outside a convenience store.
Two deputies and one police officer shot and killed 29-year-old Joshua Barre, who is black, on Friday morning after receiving multiple 911 calls saying he carried “two butcher knives” and threatened people, police said, local media reported.
Barre’s mother, Etta Jones Barre, described her son as “mentally ill,” CNN affiliate KTUL reported

Did they shoot him before he entered the store ?
If they shot him once he was inside the door (which is when he reacted as if shot), why is the glass door unbroken ?

I went and read the article, and it explained ‘when’ he got shot, clearing up my understanding of this incident.

They’re not mentally-ill in the traditional sense. They use that as an excuse to collect disability and sit on the dole.
Because the Democrat Party closed (over geat outcry from families) the institutions where people like this used to ge cared for back in the eighties.
In the case of this man, a judge shut down Hissom Mental Institute in Sand Springs back in 1985.
