Was Mohammed a 'True Muslim'?
American Thinker.com ^ | June 13, 2017 | Selwyn Duke

In the wake of every terrorist act, there is the same argument. The voices-in-the-wilderness on the right will say, insofar as they’re not muzzled by hate-speech laws, that Islam is the problem. In contrast, a leftist drumbeat of media and mainstream politicos will assert that the Muslim terrorists aren’t really “Muslim” terrorists, that they’ve perverted the faith. As to the truth, it’s as with any other debate over a thing’s true meaning (e.g., the Constitution): it only makes sense to look for answers in original sources.

This brings us to a simple question: Was Mohammed a true Muslim?

It’s a rhetorical question, of course. As Islam’s founder — the religion was born of revelations he supposedly had in the early seventh century — Mohammed was the very first Muslim. Moreover, since Muslims view him as “The Perfect Man,” the ultimate role model, he’s not just the truest Muslim but the yardstick by which other Muslims may measure themselves.

So what was Mohammed’s “perfection”? He was a warlord who launched approximately 30 military campaigns, many of which he led himself. He was a caravan raider (a bandit) and captured, traded in and owned slaves (by the way, will liberals suggest slave-owning Mohammed be diminished, as they’ve done with our founders?). He ordered massacres, used torture and had dissidents assassinated. In 627 AD, he beheaded more than 600 men and boys of the Qurayza tribe in Medina, Arabia, thus wiping it off the map. He also was a polygamist and made it lawful for masters to have sexual relations with their female captives.

MadMoHamButt was the perfect moslem...

He invented the religion...he would know how he wanted it to go...

Like Joey Smith and his Mormon religion...

they both made it up as they went along to suit their lusts and greed...

Was he a true Muslim may be as hard to answer as “Is “he” a true man?” of any man today. We know all the things Mohammad was from a practicer of polyandry, polygamy, and pedophile to murderer to liar to almost anything else we have pejorative words for. Was he a multicultural lover of history, art, music, and people? Never.

Why do Muslims revere him? For one reason...from the time they were in their mothers’ wombs they have heard the rhythm and cadence of the Qu’ran and from the time they could mimic words they began mimicking words from the Qu’ran. From the time they could truly memorize oral tradition they spoke the words of the Qu’ran without understanding the meaning. This type of blab school learning goes on continuously from the time they can memorize to and throughout adulthood. Most Muslims have no other education. To what else can they compare the Qo’ran to? Nothing. Therefore it is the be all and end all. They cannot evaluate anything.

How can any Muslim raised thusly begin to use logic to refute such insanity as FGM? Or killing all infidels, or killing all animals-—all swine, cats, dogs, maybe even birds, and using halal “sanitation” to kill and dress cattle. I wonder how they regard horses or odd beasties like kangaroos?

One clear aspect of Mohammad’s life was that he conquered when he had power and was wise enough to bide his time when he was weak. In this way he gives the infidel world a means to control the spread of Islam.

Islam should be confined and kept weak lest they spread and attempt to invoke the prophecy that they are the true religion into the part of the world that does not believe in Sharia.

In this aspect, I believe Trump has the right idea.

Then how do you keep them weak? Immigration controls? Arming competing factions? Destroy oil facilities that we can fill?

There is plenty of evidence that Islam was cobbled together after the time of Mohammed. Scholarly work. It is a sham. Mecca was not even the first focus of prayer and worship. Early mosques all give direction of prayer toward Petra.
We’ve been had. Search for Jay Smith videos on youtube. Tom Holland has researched and written. Also the late Patricia Krone(spelling?).

Well said -- we had a president that was raised for several years this way, and who said the Muslim call to prayer is "the prettiest sound on earth" in a NYT interview. His actions as president certainly indicate he was, at a minimum, a Muslim apologist. But most of us think it was worse than that....

---

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Yes, he was.

There is no Allah but Satan, and Muhammad was his murdering pedophile.

Trump has the right idea.

I would suggest that it will involve the same sort of activity that Mohammad would himself recommend. Reference is to the activity involving the City of Medina when Mohammad was weak and later when he was strong.
