Mueller’s team is five people, and the Washington Post is claiming there are Five Leakers. Let me think about this.....
Maybe it’s from Obama/Hillary’s daily briefing from Mueller
Bout damn time we heard from our side
The Democrat Party has no fear of, nor respect for, the law.
I am most gratified that Jay is one of the attorneys advising Trump.
Time for Trump to appoint another dozen (or so) Special Councillors. (Some other Freeper suggested as much recently.) Investigate everyone and everything. Let the Russia thing continue; so that there can be no suggestion of obstruction of justice. Just bring a whole lot more justice into the picture. It’s my understanding that Trump would not need any sort of Congressional approval or consultation for these appointments.
DAG Rosenstein needs to issue orders restricting the investigation of Special Prosecutor Mueller and his Demonicrat henchmen to the nothing burger of Russian collusion and each others’ keisters!
Same playbook as the last special counsel: just find something, anything to prosecute (he jaywalked last year!) and hit them with that.
Anything to damage the President. Just anything.
It’s not illegal to create fictional stories in a failing media outlet. Economic fraud maybe.
I'm sick of this sh*t. Between the baseball false flag and this ongoing 'Russia investigation' now becoming a 'financial investigation', I'm beginning to think America is being PUSHED INTO A CIVIL WAR BY EVERYONE IN DC INCLUDING TRUMP. What has Trump done to stop this? What has Sessions done to stop this? WHY IS THIS NONSENSE BEING ALLOWED TO CONTINUE?
Trump should make a speech in primetime from the Oval Office, to read the applicable section from the Constitution that authorizes him to FIRE Mueller, Rosenstein, and all their little Deep State minions and JUST DO IT. But..
PERHAPS THEY'D ALL RATHER HAVE AN ARMED MARCH ON THE CAPITOL, WITH LITTLE CIVIL WARS MIXED IN?
... shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and shall be removed from office or employment.
Separate laws cover the disclosure of classified information.
General point being, "classified" is not a prerequsite for a leak to be a crime.
It’s high time the no good SOBs in the republican party started backing Trump up! They are leaving him out in the wind alone.
Sekulow should be Attorney General, Sessions is mister wimpy.
Some of the matters President T should appoint “special counsels” to investigate ASAP, each seperately:
1.) DC Pedophelia
2.) Clinton Foundation
3.) Obama Spy Gate
4.) The Federal Reserve
Little if any immunity but for a star witness or two;
Start Indicting!
That should put the fear of God back into the Swamp...
Then for God’s sake DO something about it! Wake Sessions up from his nap and effing CHARGE someone with a crime!
Wake the hell up!
I think they know they’ve got nothing, so they’re leaking crap trying to goad Trump into firing Mueller, which they would then turn into yet another made-up crisis.
During the Starr investigation, Clinton cronies would routinely leak information to the media about the grand jury proceedings or other aspects of the investigation, then run to the nearest MSM jackasses, breathlessly criticize the Starr team for leaking this information, and then call for Starr's resignation.
And most of the sh!t they were leaking wasn't even true, anyway.
What goes around, comes around -- eh? LMAO.
To establish a violation of this section, the government must prove that: (1) the defendant was an officer or employee of the United States; (2) the defendant disclosed confidential information; and (3) the defendant knew that the information so disclosed was confidential "in the sense that its disclosure is forbidden by agency official policy (or by regulation or law).
There is tension between 18 USC 1905 and FOIA.
Link above includes case law cites.
If recent history is any indication, the culprits will have the perfect defense in this case: They can't be charged with leaking confidential or classified information if the information they're "leaking" to the media isn't even true.
. . . and shield laws - which presume to give journalists rights not available to us who do not have official journalist status - are unconstitutional titles of nobility.First Amendment freedom of the press implies that I am a journalist if I want to be one, whether or not the government gives my status as such its imprimatur.
But if every Tom, Dick, and Harry can become a journalist at will, a shield law would moot any law to which it applied.
