No they don't - at least not in the way we'd define it. What they think is that it will lead to a society where there isn't the slightest chance of the masses taking condign action against the stupid ideas of those in charge (and they imagine themselves in charge)
The masses enslaved with the bulk of the fruits of their labors going to the rulers, the rulers' slightest whim indulged - that is their idea of utopia.
Yep just look at the loon in Virginia, the only reason why you don’t have 20 dead GOP members is because there were good guys with guns to save the day..that is what the left is against, they want US unarmed so we will be easier to kill

As this latest shooting reveals, along with the many, many other acts of violence in print and reality throughout recent history and especially since Trump was elected, they know, with a core-level understanding, what evil lurks in the hearts of their fellow progressives.
There, but for the Grace of God, go I. Unchained to God and His Word, the average human is one of the world's most dangerous and destructive creatures.
Without God and His Word as a constant reference to their conscience, their emotional reasoning and feelings in the moment are their guide to their ends justifying their means, whatever they might happen to be.
