The state will not retry him. They never should have gotten the first conviction.

This is also good news for Steven Avery, who was framed by the cops and the prosecutors.

It’s a disgrace that Wisconsin Governor has not released Avery or ordered a retrial.

I’m not sure if Avery was framed but it certainly seems like they railroaded this kid and took advantage of his limited capacity to understand, so good for him.

If all you have seen is the Making a Murderer documentary, you don’t know the full story.

1. Explain why the cloth key fob found in plain sight in Avery’s trailer didn’t even have the victims DNA on it. on the 8th visit by law enforcement.

2. Explain how with such an alleged bloody scene in Avery’s bedroom yielded exactly zero DNA from the victim.

3. Explain how a bullet fragment was found in plain site in the outbuilding only after several previous visits and how it was possible that not a single drop, or less, or blood from the victim was found anywhere on the Avery property.

As one of Steven Avery’s attorney’s said, Avery mat have been lot of things; being a good housekeeper wasn’t one of them.

Avery was framed because he was set to get a $30+ judgment for his previous wrongful conviction. Avery had no motive. But the cops, prosecutor and city sure did.

It looked to me as if they had some pretty powerful evidence against the uncle. The girl most assuredly didn't commit suicide.

The nephew? Maybe not.

At the risk of having Diana check my membership date, I agree with you.

The investigation was a complete witch hunt/cluster fuq

caligatrux, I read the transcripts of the trial; all of them. Have you?

Read the cross examinations of the law enforcement officers. The judge also made some very biased rulings against the defendants. Avery’s conviction was based largely on planted evidence and the testimony of the mentally retarded kid who was set up by his own defense attorney.

Sweetheart, my first screen name which no longer is relevant today, was more than five years prior to your current screen name.

“If all you have seen is the Making a Murderer documentary, you don’t know the full story.”

You mean the documentary made by Steven Avery’s lawyers?

Agreed.

I watched the documentary and I had 2 takeaways.
1) how in the hell were the cops allowed to coerce a confession from a minor without parental consent or an attorney? That is especially true for a kid that seemed....limited intellectually
2) I think Avery did it. I also think they may have planted evidence to prove it. I personally wouldn’t have voted guilty given the evidence and circumstances of the evidence.

If the cops and prosecutors would do what they did to this mentally deficient boy, why would anyone believe they didn’t frame Avery.

Without the coerced false testimony of Brendan Dassy, there was no case against Avery.

Dassy’s public defender helped the prosecution frame him.
