Former Vice President Joe Biden got into a verbal altercation with billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman after he disrespected his deceased son.

The controversial hedge fund manager, known for his losing bets on stocks like Herbalife (HLF) and Valeant (VRX), got into a verbal tussle with Biden at a private dinner during recent investment conference. The incident, which hasn’t’ been reported, stunned an A-list group of attendees who witnessed Biden’s verbally scolding Ackman, according to three people who were present.
The altercation occurred at this year’s SkyBridge Alternatives (SALT) Conference, a popular Wall Street confab held in May and started by hedge fund impresario Anthony Scaramucci. Both Biden and Ackman were featured speakers during the event.
Then during a private VIP dinner that night the question of why Biden didn’t run for president in 2016 was raised once again, by former Florida governor and 2016 GOP presidential contender Jeb Bush, who asked Biden “why didn’t you run?”

I have lost two of my four children, it’s something you do not ever get over...and for that reason, I don’t blame Biden for going off, if it were I, he would be wearing what he was eating!!!
The guy was a tad blunt but he certainly said nothing disrespectful about Biden’s son.

There is no reason whatsoever to make light of or offend someone because of the loss of a loved one. That’s just damn crude, boorish and disrespectful.

it was actually a pretty funny comment that got Biden pissed - but Jeb Bush got it started by asking Biden why he didn’t run in 2016. Seriously, Jeb, you are expecting a straight answer from a Dem?
Agree. I blame Dems/Biden for a LOT that’s wrong. But, I don’t blame Biden, for this.
Furthermore, I suspect Biden was told by his boss that "it's her turn" and privately believes she blew it and he could have won the election.
I've never fully believed that his son's passing was the primary reason he didn't run. I think this is what he told the public (and tried to tell himself).
Respectfully disagree. While his comment may not have been in the best taste, Ackman said nothing that could have been construed as disrespecting his son's memory. This is another example of Biden playing the sympathy card for all it is worth. His wife was killed in an auto accident when she pulled out in front of a car. Even though his wife was completely at fault, Biden's stump speech morphed the tragedy into one in which she was an innocent victim of a drunk driver, which was a complete lie. There is no level of behavior so low that this assclown won't stoop to achieve...
Biden’s sensitivity comes and/or at opportune times...he should have accepted the man’s apology and moved on. Let’s not delude ourselves that Biden is a moral man or even a decent man - he’s quite dubious with a very long verifiable history of it.

Keep in mind Biden is a slimy pol who has used personal tragedy in his political pitch before. I agree the hedge fund guy was rude, but it struck me as funny.
