duh? Don't sweat it, it's just California Dreaming. . .
But its the thought that counts.. For liberals, its Virtue Signaling through Legislation.
Even senators who voted for Senate Bill 562 noted there are potentially fatal flaws in the bill, including the fact it does not address many serious issues, such as financing, delivery of care, cost controls, or the realities of needed action by the Trump administration and voters to make SB 562 a genuine piece of legislation,
Puppet alert Puppet alert
somebody looked at Vermont’s (population 625k) analysis....?
Yeah, like there is no way this side of tarnation that California will be able to fund it. But hey it’s the Hallmark card of legislation. It’s the thought that counts.
Oh wait, that would be goring their own fatted calf. Libs think it best to go after someone else's......
I knew it had to die of its own weight. 15% additional income tax? 20% additional employer tax?
My wife wants us out of California before this state does anything more to drive us out.
They should just pass a law making illness illegal. That way, nobody would need healthcare.
Probably no relation to the Nationals' 3B.
The Mexican affirmative action fireman from LA.
That's who's in charge of 125 billion dollars a year in other people's money. Along with his cholo buddies Ricardo Lara and Kevin de Leon.
The Real Americans, straight from Mexico, running the biggest state in the federal union.

Guys like this normally can't get a job managing a McDonalds, and yet the garbage in this state allows them to decide a budget larger then any corporation on earth?
As long as the Fang companies stay in California they cn get by. The Apple, Google, Facebook and Netflix and their employees alone can keep the state afloat. if they ever leave, forget it.

Did not Hawaii have something similar that they had to abandon? The cost overruns were killing it.

Under a republican form of government, is it legitimate or lawful to force doctors and patients into a contractual relationship neither wants? California claims to be a Republic?
I understand the Courts would probably not touch this question with a 10-foot pole, but for the future of this country, we need to be having this kind of discussion. Also, we need to be talking about how the world view of some prospective immigrants adds or takes away from the ideal. Same with the effect of government schooling. California illustrates what happen to the entire US if we admit a large number of what amounts to uneducated peasants, and allow them to vote. We can still appreciate aspects of the different cultures without making them all citizens.
One idiot socialist that still has a grasp on one shred of reality.
He does not want to be hung with passing this disaster.
“’Woefully incomplete’ universal health bill dead for the year in California”
I can’t believe these Mexifornia genuises allowed minor details like finding a funding soure scuttle this wonderful, utopian, humanitarian legislation.
