President Trump wants Democrats to work with him on passing legislation but doesn't believe they would do anything that might be seen as helping his agenda.
"It would be so great if the Democrats and Republicans could get together, wrap their arms around it, and come up with something that everybody's happy with. It's so easy, but we won't get one Democrat vote, not one," Trump said on Fox News in an interview taped Friday that aired Sunday.
"And if it was the greatest bill ever proposed in mankind, we wouldn't get a vote. And that's the terrible thing. So there is – well look, their theme is resist. I've never heard of anything like this resist."
Trump said the partisan hostility in Washington, which some have accused him of escalating during his campaign and his time in office, is crippling the political system.
He pointed to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., going on the Senate floor to criticize the Republican Senate healthcare bill weeks before it was released as an example.
"He was criticizing a bill that he had no idea what was in the bill. But that's called the resistance, and that's a terrible word," he said. "Think of it. Their theme is resist. Their theme should be, let's get together, envelop. Let's get together. But their theme is resist."

Had no idea what was in the bill? Sounds familiar for some reason.
The Democrat party was hijacked by the Socialists awhile back. There does not exist any constitutional opposition of any value to the Republican party at this time. There is only the remnants of the Democrat party under the umbrella of a Marxist led agenda, and a partial Republican party.
The Republican party is split due infiltration of the same sorts involved in the absconsion of the Democrat party.
We have only a portion of our constitutional republic functioning as it’s supposed to. Those not involved protecting our constitution are trying to take down, destroy our country, and rebuild it to their vision. A vision not unlike Venezuela today.

Which makes this all the more astonishing is that Donald Trump had in the past supported a NUMBER of Democrats in primary or general elections, at every level in the New York metro area, as well as a number of others in nearby and sometimes distant locations. One would think that there would be SOME degree of gratitude for launching these Democrat politicians, but of course, being the entitled class, they have very short and selective memories.
But be looking for The Fake News Media to blame President Trump nonetheless.

No need to work with assholes. T, Get damned tough on the RINOs calling out their names, over and over, when they do not support the agenda of the people who elected you.
Recommend that they be primaried. Send them to the outhouse ASAP.
At first I thought he said their theme is racist.
Noting that I gladly voted for Trump and do not regret doing so, please consider the following.
Given that the Oval Office is constitutionally “married” to Congress, rookie politician Trump got everybody’s hopes too high during the campaign for the following reason imo.
Since the corrupt, uniparty, anti-Trump Congress that Trump has to work with in his first two years predictably isn’t going to support Trump in cleaning up the swamp — because Congress is the swamp — his first two years in office are basically practice.
In other words, patriots need to roll up their sleeves and elect as much of a new, Trump-supporting Congress in 2018 so that Trump will be freer to exercise his famous leadership skills.
In fact, patriots need to make sure that Trump-supporting candidates are on the 2018 midterm ballots.
All Republicans need to pound this theme. It’s so true and it needs to get out there
If Trump’s agenda doesn’t cover Welfare recipients, Illegal’s so-called rights, or Homosexuality then the Democrats have no interest
