The city of Chicago is facing bankruptcy due to Democrat Party leadership that has simply destroyed the great American city. But this isn’t stopping the Democrat leadership in Chicago from paying for and placing a statue in front of Trump Tower in Chicago.
The statue reads “Real Fake”.
A Chicagoan put a CNN logo sign on the ‘Real Fake’ sculpture on Friday.

If people keep sticking CNN signs onto that display, watch them take the ‘sculpture’ down within a week.

Heck yeah! All FReepers in Chicago: go to the “Real Fake” sculpture and cover it with CNN logos! Perfect!
Then take pictures and post them everywhere!
Using public funds for partisan political purposes is a felony -- yeah, I know - no controlling legal authority.
What I find most revealing is the city’s approach to solving the financial crisis: Raise taxes. Really? They don’t think that people and businesses can leave? Ohio under governor Cleste tried to pass an Exit Tax wherein any company that shut its doors (usually moving to lower, non-union, wage places in the South) had to leave 6 months wages to help pay for those who lost their jobs. Six months later they couldn’t understand why there were zero new business formations in OH. At least they repealed the law. Yep, raising taxes will solve their problem.
Equally revealing is there is absolutely NO discussion about cutting spending...none.How ‘bout this: Anyone on any type of public assistance who can fog a mirror has to show up for work cleaning toilets, washing windows...whatever needs to be done to pulic property to draw benefits. I just wonder what would happen to welfare payments, rent subsidies, food stamps, etc. in the city.

Ok, the humor is fine, but.... WTF IS SHITCAGO SPENDING MONEY IT DOESN’T HAVE, ON MOCKING THE CURRENT PRESIDENT TO BEGIN WITH???!?
Hell, spend the time with a metal etcher, or metal etching acid and a stencil, and permanently affix the CNN logo.
Chicago probably has police or cameras watching the sculpture now, and the next person who tries to modify it will be arrested.
Obviously bolted to the pavement. No sense of craft for an object d’art. Sad.
