Even US First Lady Melania Trump was powerless to keep the first face-to-face meeting of the US and Russian presidents from running well over time.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said he tried several times to remind President Donald Trump about the ticking clock during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Hamburg.

“Watch the media paint this as Trump being rude to Putin.”

Or, the contrary: “See? They’re COLLUDING!”

Can’t be anything wrong with being flexible, especially now after the election. Right? Right?

Or spin “positive chemistry” as “Putin controls Trump.”

Sounds good. Will they meet again? If not, President Trump can come home.

They probably planned this in advance -- to drive the media crazy.

Yep. It is a plot of major proportions.

During their last phone call, they played the ‘no, you hang up first’ game.

Can’t come home just yet.

He still needs to talk to China about their lunatic proxy in North Korea.

This is good news. The best news all week. We knew they’d admire each other and get along.

Wanna see the Democrat media’s heads explode? The Trumps should invite Vlad to their suite for a friendly after-hours visit.Too bad the President doesn’t drink because there’s nothing better than a couple of glasses of excellent wine with good company.

This is the meeting Deep State has tried to scotch from day one. I’ve had a gut feeling that this is something that had to happen to get around the Deep Staters. I hate to say that I don’t trust the agencies, but after 8 years of being packed by Obamists, I really really don’t.

They’ve tried to set it up so that if Trump isn’t actively at war with Russia, he is denounced as a Russian spy himself. And they’ve done all they can to stampede him into a war with Assad, a war that Obama, the Turks, and the arabs wanted and which has killed half a million people for no discernible purpose. With those same agencies as his only source of information, its a wonder we haven’t been dragged in already. Remember a couple of months before Obama left office, several dozen intel analysts resigned, because their Syria reporting was being re-written to agree with the Obama White House... Trump really needs to clean house over there and so far I don’t see it.

I’m guessing there were a few good Cuban cigars, some fine brandy, and lots of laughs.

They've been buying up big chunks of the US, too. And the South Pacific.
