He wouldn’t because there is no bill. The amendment to ban spending taxpayer money on transgender crap FAILED (thank you “Republicans”). Obama put the law in place to pay for this nonsense, and now the vote failed to repeal it. So there is nothing for Trump to sign.

Congressman Lance you have beclowned yourself by voting no to this amendment. Not only do people pursing transgender surgery not belong in the military we should not be paying for an unproven irreversible therapy. John Hopkins who pioneered Trans surgery no longer performs transgender surgeries because the outcomes are so poor that it is not in the patient’s interest. Military readiness requires that if someone is in the throes of a life changing decision process like this they leave the military until their gender has stabilized. The armed forces needs its members to be focused on the mission not their sexuality. It is inappropriate to stress other service members by having them need to focus on sensitivity to troubled individuals. If a person has completed therapy and is living as their non biological sex and it will not detract from their ability to concentrate on the job at hand then there is no reason that they can’t serve but we should not be encouraging or facilitating people joining the military to get free sex change operations while destroying the moral and the smooth running order of the military. This is a matter of National Security not an all inclusive social club.

Hopefully it gets stripped in the Senate, but I doubt it and Trump will sign it anyway b/c it was one of his big campaign promises--rebuilding the military.

Yes it would be a death warrant for most pols, but the balance are from Cali, Philly, NY, and NJ. I don’t think DjT will let it stand.
