"I firmly believe that guns really cause harm to women in intimate relationships, and we have got to do more about that," Glenn said. "It's an unpopular, controversial topic, but that's why it's even more critical. We have to make something different happen." WOW! Didn't see that comment coming!</sarc>

These people really do have one-track minds. What next? Registration of Blunt Instruments?

It seems to me, that the chalk outline guy is one of the better jobs that you can get. You know it's not dangerous, the criminals are long gone, that seems like a good one. I don't know who they are, I guess they're people who wanted to be a sketch artists, but they couldn't draw too well..."listen Johnson, forget the sketches. Do you think if we left a dead body right there on the sidewalk, you could manage to trace around it? Could you do that?". I don't even know how it helps to solve the crime? You know, they look at the thing on the ground..."aah his arm was like that when he hit the pavement. That means the killer must've been Jim."

Who paid for this survey? Who approved it? What a waste of money.

Once again, the violence (and myriad other crimes) committed by deranged, jealous, borderline personality, alcoholic/drug user women against their boyfriends/husbands/exes merits not a single line in this article.
Hence the credibility level of this piece of tripe is: “0”

Since they broke down the victims by ethnicity, I can see that black women are three times more likely to be murdered than white women.
I wonder why they did not include the frequency rates and ethnicity's of the perps?

Firearms served as the murder weapon in 54 percent of cases. And how many of the murderers had a "right" to own or possess the firearm? Inquiring minds want to know.
I assume that all of the murderers had a concealed carry permit thus justifying doing something to ban all firearms. "sarc off"

Ban girlfriends and wives!
Could this be the new gay agenda?
Actually, it would be interesting to learn how many homosexual relations end in violence as compared to heterosexual.

Now that I think on it, part of the problem is the sexualization of everything. Instead of a Godly approach or a stoic approach recognizing that little if anything really belongs to us and that what comes to us can just as easily leave we are taught that image is everything and anything that harms that image is fair game. Lately, it seems that personal identity revolves entirely around what one does with their pelvic region and anything that harms that perception is a threat. A very dangerous concept.

Yep, it was a waste of money. Healthy relationships begin at birth, not at young adulthood. Everybody is worried about racism, but they forget about chauvinism.

I recall a story up in my country where a woman sought refuge in a battered women’s shelter to get a away from a violent, abusive male partner. Apparently, the man (although having a firearms prohibition order put against him supposedly) soon marched into the shelter and shot and killed this woman with the horrified administrator looking on helplessly. The comment about this story was that the man basically didn’t give a damn about the law.
